Belosalik

Belosalik – the combined outside medicine with antiinflammatory, antipruritic and keratolytic action.

Form of release and structure

Belosalik release in two dosage forms:

• Ointment for external use: homogeneous, translucent, white color (in aluminum tubas on 20, 30, 40 g, on 1 tuba in a cardboard pack);
• Solution for external use: viscous, colourless, transparent (in bottles on 50 and 100 ml with a dropper, in a cardboard pack 1 bottle; in bottles on 20, 50 and 100 ml with the spraying pompovy mechanism and a plastic nozzle sprayer, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack).

Content of active agents:

• 1 g of ointment: betamethasone – 0,5 mg, salicylic acid – 30 mg;
• 1 g of solution: betamethasone – 0,5 mg, salicylic acid – 20 mg.

Excipients:

• Ointment: oil mineral, vaseline;
• Solution for external use: gipromelloza, isopropanol, dinatrium эдетат, sodium hydroxide, water.

Indications to use

Active agents of Belosalik render antipruritic, antiinflammatory, anti-proliferative, keratolytic and antimicrobic action. Use of drug not only allows to influence the inflammation center, reducing pain, irritation and puffiness, but also, thanks to salicylic acid, prevents development of a bacterial and fungal infection.

Belosalik appoint for treatment of the subacute and chronic dermatosis which is followed by a peeling and a hyperkeratosis among them:

• Psoriasis;
• Neurodermatitis;
• Ichthyosis and ichthyotic damages of skin;
• Red flat and asbestovidny deprive;
• Seborrhea and seborrheal dermatitis of a pilar part of the head;
• Disgidrotichesky, seborrheal and tilotichesky eczemas;
• Chronic diskoidny lupus erythematosus.

Treatment on a pilar part of the head is carried out by drug in the form of solution for external use.

Short use of Belosalik at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation is allowed according to strict indications on small sites of integuments.

Contraindications

• Open wounds;
• Skin displays of syphilis;
• Viral infections of skin;
• Vulgar eels;
• Skin postvaccinal reactions;
• Rozatsea;
• Chicken pox;
• Tuberculosis cutis;
• Trophic ulcers;
• Hypersensitivity to salicylic acid, betamethasone or other components of Belosalik.

Drug is not appointed to children 6 months are younger. Its use for children up to 12 years has to be carried out with observance of strict measures of precaution and to be as less as possible long as there is a risk of system absorption of active components.

Belosalik it is necessary to apply with care:

• On face skin (because of a possibility of development of perioral dermatitis, dermatitis as a rozatse, an acne and an atrophy of skin);
• Under an occlusive bandage (to avoid absorption of bigger amount of active components).

Route of administration and dosage

Belosalik apply 2 times a day, applying a small amount of ointment or solution on the inflammation center. In mild cases drug use is effective once a day.

Course of treatment – from 3 to 4 weeks. At longer course it is recommended to use drug every other day. Carrying out several medical courses within a year is allowed.

To avoid development of system side effects which can cause active ingredients of Belosalik (a hypercorticoidism, secondary adrenal insufficiency, an Icenco-Cushing syndrome) it is not recommended to use drug it is long on extensive sites of skin, especially when using under an occlusive bandage.

Side effects

Belosalik at use in the form of ointment and lotion extremely seldom causes undesirable side effects – a hyperemia, an itch or burning. Also during treatment development of hypopigmentation, aknepodobny changes, atrophies of skin, consecutive infections of skin, striya, teleangiectasias, a hypertrichosis is possible.

At emergence of the described side effects Belosalik's use is recommended to be stopped.

Special instructions

At development of the atypical symptoms which are not described in the instruction it is necessary to see a doctor.

Data on adverse influence of Belosalik on ability to control of vehicles are absent.

Analogs

Belosalik's analogs are:

• On active agent – Akriderm of SK, Betasal, Betaderm And, Diprosalik, Rederm;
• On the action mechanism – Travokort, Kandiderm, Elokom-S, Skinlayt, Kleore, Triderm.

Terms and storage conditions

To store at a temperature up to 25 °C:

• Ointment – 4 years;
• Lotion – 2 years.
