Таблетки, покрытые пленочной оболочкой, БетакBetak – synthetic medicine with the expressed anti-hypertensive action.

Form of release and structure

Drug is produced in the form of tablets, film coated: white, biconvex, a round form, on one party – risk (on 10 pieces in strip planimetric packagings, on 3 packagings in a cardboard pack).

Active agent: бетаксолол, in 1 tablet – 20 mg.

Excipients: starch sodium glycollate, lactoses monohydrate, magnesium stearate, cellulose microcrystallic, silicon colloid anhydrous, titanium oxide, gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloz and polyethyleneglycol 400.

Indications to use

  • Arterial hypertension;
  • Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy;
  • Coronary heart disease: angina of exertion and rest, myocardial infarction;
  • Disturbances of a cordial rhythm, including a supraventricular and ventricular tachyarrhythmia, sinus tachycardia and premature ventricular contraction.

Contraindications

Betak's use is contraindicated at hypersensitivity to components of drug and active ingredient to a betaksolol, and also at the following diseases:

  • Chronic heart failure of the II-III stage;
  • Cardiogenic shock;
  • AV blockade of II or III degrees;
  • Bradycardia;
  • Arterial hypotension;
  • Reynaud's syndrome;
  • Bronchial asthma;
  • Printsmetal's stenocardia;
  • Sinuatrial blockade;
  • Cardiomegaly;
  • Myasthenia;
  • Obliterating endarteritis;
  • Emphysema of lungs;
  • Chronic obstructive bronchitis;
  • The expressed renal failure;
  • Diabetes mellitus;
  • Psoriasis.

Route of administration and dosage

Betak at arterial hypertension in an initiation of treatment appoint 5-10 mg a day. In several weeks it is possible to increase a dose to 20 mg. A pill is taken once a day (irrespective of meal).

Side effects

At Betak's reception there can be following by-effects:

  • Bradycardia, heart failure, orthostatic hypotension, AV blockade and the deterioration in peripheric circulation which is expressed as paresthesias, a cold snap of extremities, Reynaud's syndrome;
  • Exacerbation of psoriasis;
  • Adynamy, confusion of consciousness, dizziness, headache, increased fatigue, depression, drowsiness, hallucinations;
  • Bronchospasm;
  • Nausea, diarrhea or lock, vomiting, cholestasia;
  • Xerophthalmus;
  • Skin rash and small tortoiseshell;
  • Impotence;
  • Leukopenia and thrombocytopenia.

At overdose by Betak bradycardia, a faint, AV blockade, spasms, heart failure, falling of arterial pressure and a bronchospasm can develop.

Special instructions

At administration of drug it is necessary to consider that in the first days of treatment at the corresponding predisposition heart failure can develop.

To avoid a withdrawal, upon termination of therapy it is necessary to reduce a daily dose of Betak gradually, on 5 mg each 3-4 days.

It is necessary to be careful at a concomitant use of drug with blockers of calcium channels, beta adrenoblockers, cardiac glycosides, anti-hypertensive means, drugs for an inhalation anesthesia, an adrenomimetikama and a fenotiazinama.

With care use of drug at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation is allowed.

Analogs

Structural analogs of Betak are drugs Lokren and Betaksolol.

Conditions and periods of storage

Betak treats medicines which are released according to the recipe.

The recommended period of storage – 2 years at a temperature not above 25 °C.
