Bifosin
Application instruction:
Bifosin – the antifungal drug intended for external use.
Form of release and structure
Drug is produced in shape:
- Solution for external use of 1% (in bottles droppers from dark glass on 15 g);
- Cream for external use of 1% (in aluminum tubas on 30 g);
- Spray for external use of 1% (in polymeric bottles with the sprayer on 20 ml);
- Powder for external use of 1% (in polyethylene banks on 30 g).
Active ingredient of Bifosin is бифоназол (10 mg of active agent on 1 g of drug).
Auxiliary component of solution is the macrogoal 400.
Auxiliary components of cream:
- Macrogoal 4000;
- Macrogoal 400;
- Propylene glycol.
Auxiliary components of spray:
- Isopropanol – 0,4 ml;
- Propylene glycol – 0,3 ml;
- Macrogoal 400 – to 1 ml.
Auxiliary components of powder:
- Starch corn;
- Zinc oxide – 150 mg on 1 g of drug;
- Talc.
Indications to use
Bifosin's use is reasonable at treatment of the damages of skin caused by dermatophytes, mouldy, drozhzhepodobny mushrooms, Corynebacterium minutissimum and Malassezia furfur:
- Dermatomycoses of smooth skin;
- Superficial candidiasis of skin;
- Mycoses of brushes and feet;
- Chromophytosis;
- Erythrasmas.
- Dermatomycoses of a pilar part of the head (for powder, spray and solution).
Contraindications
Contraindications to Bifosin's use are:
- Hypersensitivity of the patient to drug components;
- Lactation period.
With care drug is appointed in the first trimester of pregnancy, and also to children of chest age.
Route of administration and dosage
1 time a day before going to bed is recommended to use drug.
Powder, cream and solution need to be applied with a thin layer on an affected area of skin and to rub carefully.
Spray should be sprayed on the sites of skin struck and adjoining to them in the volume, sufficient for their moistening.
As a rule, for the site of the size of a palm there are enough several drops of solution (about 3 ml) or a strip of cream 0,5-1 cm long.
Treatment has to be continuous, duration of therapy is defined by the disease serving as the indication for purpose of drug:
- Dermatomycoses of smooth skin - 2-3 weeks;
- Erythrasma, chromophytosis – 2 weeks;
- Mycoses of feet and interdigital intervals of feet – 3-4 weeks;
- Superficial candidiasis of skin – 2-4 weeks;
- Dermatomycosis of a pilar part of the head – 4 weeks.
For the purpose of prevention of a recurrence Bifosin is recommended to apply 1 time a day within 2 weeks after disappearance of clinical displays of a disease.
Side effects
In certain cases Bifosin's use can cause local reactions in shape:
- Irritations of skin;
- Allergic reactions;
- Skin itch;
- Macerations;
- Hyperemia;
- Burning sensation;
- Eczemas;
- Vesicular rash;
- Peelings;
- Allergic dermatitis (very seldom).
Special instructions
In the absence of therapeutic effect or at insufficient efficiency of Bifosin it is recommended to conduct additional examination of the patient (a condition of endocrine system, immunity, blood, microcirculation of the struck area) and on the basis of results of inspection to adjust treatment.
It is necessary to avoid hit of drug in eyes.
Bifosin's use in treatment of children is younger than 1 year perhaps only under control of the doctor.
On implementation of potentially dangerous types of activity demanding speed of psychomotor reactions and concentration of attention including on driving, drug of influence does not render.

Bifosin's analog is Mikospor.
Terms and storage conditions
Period of validity – 2 years. To store in the unavailable to children and protected from light place, solution, cream and powder at a temperature of 15-25 °C, spray at a temperature not above 25 °C.
