Faringoseptum – the medicine used at oral cavity diseases.
Structure and form of release
Drug is produced 
in the form of the pressed lollipops on 10 mg. One lollipop contains the operating component – Ambazonum of 10 mg.
In blisters on 20 lollipops.
Faringoseptum analog on active ingredient is Ambazonum.
Pharmacological action of Faringoseptum
According to the instruction Faringoseptum is applied to treatment of the diseases of an oral cavity caused by pneumococci, stafilokokka and streptococci. According to reviews Faringoseptum works bacteriostatically.
Use of Faringoseptum is effective as monotherapy for treatment of various diseases of a stomatopharynx and an oral cavity of easy severity. Drug or an analog of Faringoseptum works locally that prevents development of stability of pathogenic microorganisms to antibacterial drugs.
Rassasyvaniye of drug increases a sialosis that leads to decrease in displays of such diseases as irritation in a throat, reduces discomfort when swallowing. Thanks to local action, drug does not suppress growth of natural intestinal microflora therefore development of dysbacteriosis is excluded.
Optimum content of active ingredient in saliva is reached in three days after use of Faringoseptum.
Indications
According to the instruction Faringoseptum is shown for the treatment of diseases of a stomatopharynx and an oral cavity caused by activators, sensitive to drug. Treat them:
- tonsillitis;
- pharyngitises;
- ulites;
- quinsy;
- stomatitises.
Also drug and an analog of Faringoseptum apply to prevention of complications after operative measures (an odontectomy or a tonsilectomy).
Route of administration of Faringoseptum and mode of dosing
To children is more senior than seven years and the adult appoint the following scheme of treatment: on one lollipop from three to five times a day. Lollipops need to be rassasyvat. According to reviews Faringoseptum should be applied after a while (in 15 minutes) after meal. After reception of lollipop it is not necessary to eat for two hours. Duration of treatment makes not less than five days. Perhaps and more prolonged treatment according to testimonies of the doctor.
To children from three to seven years, as a rule, appoint Faringoseptum in the following dosage: 30 mg the day divided into three receptions.
Increase in the recommended dosages does not lead to strengthening of medical effect.
Contraindications
According to the instruction 
Faringoseptum is contraindicated at children's age up to three years, and also at hypersensitivity to Ambazonum.
Side effects of Faringoseptum
According to reviews Faringoseptum is well transferred by patients. Insignificant reactions of hypersensitivity, a dermahemia of the person, a skin itch, rash, a small tortoiseshell, a Quincke's edema are possible.
Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding
Clinical data on use of Ambazonum during pregnancy and breastfeeding are not provided.
Administration of drug or Faringoseptum analog during pregnancy is possible in case of a ratio of advantage and risk for mother and a fruit.
Special instructions
As Faringoseptum contains lactose and sucrose, it is necessary to avoid its reception to people with intolerance of a galactose or fructose, shortage of invertase-isomaltase, a sprue of glucose galactose or shortage of lactase of Lapp. Also with care it is necessary to use drug a sick diabetes mellitus.
