Structure

Active ingredient of Fleksen: ketoprofen - 50 mg. The used excipients: the hydrated oil of soybeans, vegetable oil, lecithin soy, beeswax. Structure of the capsule: sorbitol, gelatin, глицерол, titanium dioxide, пропилпарагидроксибензоат sodium, ethylparahydroxysodium benzoate.

Pharmacological action

Fleksen renders analgeziruyushchy, antiinflammatory, anti-aggregation and febrifugal actions. The Analgeziruyushchy effect is caused both peripheral, and central by mechanisms. Fleksen possesses antibradikininovy action.

Fleksen's pharmacokinetics

The drug Svyazyvayemost with proteins of plasma makes 99%. Therapeutic concentration of Fleksen in a blood plasma remains within 6-8 hours. Drug is metabolized by a glyukuronirovaniye in a liver. It is removed generally by kidneys and to 8% through intestines. Drug does not kumulirut. Elimination half-life 1,6-1,9 hours.

Indications to Fleksen's use

Fleksen is applied to treatment of acute pain syndromes at inflammatory processes of various etiology:

• psoriasis arthritis, the osteoarthrosis ankylosing a spondylitis, a pseudorheumatism, gouty arthritis (at bad attacks preference is given to high-speed dosage forms);
• альгодисменорея;
• tendosinovit, a bursitis;
• mialgiya, ischialgia, neuralgia, radiculitis, dorsalgiya;
• posttraumatic pain syndrome;
• head and dentagra;
• adnexitis, otitis;
• muscle strain and bruises;
• pain syndrome at oncological diseases.

Contraindications

• exacerbations of diseases of digestive tract;
• individual intolerance of ketoprofen, acetylsalicylic acid;
• dysfunction of a liver and kidneys;
• the expressed heart failure;
• blood disturbances (thrombocytopenia, leukopenia, hemophilia, disturbances of hemocoagulation);
• stopping of pain after operational treatment of cardiovascular system;
• feeding by a breast and pregnancy;
• patients are younger than 15 years.

It is necessary to show care to patients:

• with rhinitis, bronchial asthma, polyps mucous nose, small tortoiseshell;
• with cerebrovascular diseases, hypertensia, cardiovascular diseases;
• with anemia, blood diseases;
• the suffering alcoholism;
• with cirrhosis, caused by alcoholism;
• with diabetes, a hyperbilirubinemia, dehydration, sepsis;
• to smokers;
• advanced age.

Fleksen's dosage and route of administration

Fleksen's capsules are accepted orally, without chewing, with water after food. The usual dose for the adult patient makes 1-2 capsules 2-3 times a day.

Side effects of Fleksen

From a nervous system: dizziness, headache, sleeplessness, nervousness, excitement, drowsiness, adynamy, depression, confusion of consciousness, forgetfulness, peripheral neuropathy, migraine.

From the alimentary system: the gastropathy caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, dyspepsia (vomiting, nausea, a meteorism, heartburn, diarrhea, a loss of appetite), stomatitis, an abdominal pain.

From sense bodys: conjunctivitis, sight illegibility, dryness of a mucous membrane of an eye, hyperemia, conjunctivas, eye pain, вертиго, decrease in hearing.

From integuments: eczema, alopecia, mnogoformny exudative erythema, photodermatitis.

From cardiovascular system: tachycardia, increase in arterial pressure.

From an urinary system: cystitis, edematous syndrome, urethritis, intersticial nephrite, hamaturia, nephrotic syndrome.

From a respiratory organs: bronchospasm, диспноэ, throat hypostasis, pneumorrhagia, rhinitis, asthma.

From bodies of a hemopoiesis: seldom – anemia, an agranulocytosis, a leukopenia, thrombocytopenia, hemolitic anemia.

Allergic reactions: skin itch, skin rash, Quincke's disease, acute anaphylaxis, exfoliative dermatitis.

According to responses Fleksen can also cause side effects such as: mialgiya, sweating strengthening, muscular twitchings, vaginal bleeding, thirst.

At overdose by Fleksen manifestation of the following symptoms is possible: nausea, drowsiness, abdominal pains, vomiting, bleedings, emergence of dysfunction of kidneys or baking. The symptomatic treatment, including a gastric lavage and acceptance of absorbent carbon is recommended. The antidote does not exist.

Fleksen's interaction with other drugs

Fleksen strengthens action: antiagregant, anticoagulants, fibrinolitik, estrogen, ethanol, and also strengthens side effects of mineralokortikosteroid and glucocorticosteroids. Weakens effect of hypotensive drugs.

The concomitant use Fleksenas analogs from group of non-hormonal antiinflammatory drugs, and also ethanol, glucocorticosteroids and corticotropin can become the reason of formation of ulcers, developing of gastrointestinal bleedings and to increase risk of development of dysfunction of kidneys.

Reviews of Fleksen of therapy in combination with peroral anticoagulants, antiagregant, trombolitika, heparin, tsefoperazony, tsefatetany and tsefamandoly showed possible development of bleedings.

The combination to Valproatum of sodium can cause disturbances of aggregation of thrombocytes.

Fleksen's Gematotoksichnost amplifies myelotoxic means.

The patients combining Fleksen with warfarin, salts of lithium or coumarinic anticoagulants have to be under observation of the doctor.

It is necessary to show special care at purpose of analogs of Fleksen patients with a peptic ulcer, a liver and renal failure. According to the instruction Fleksen it is forbidden to combine with alcoholic beverages.

The persons doing the work demanding concentration of attention including control of motor transport should show extra care during Fleksen's acceptance.

Fleksen storage conditions

Fleksen is stored at the room temperature no more than 25 °C, in the place unavailable to children.
