Release form: Liquid dosage forms. Solution for infusions.
General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 9 mg of sodium of chloride in 1 ml of a rastovr.
Pharmacodynamics. Ions of sodium and chlorine are the most important inorganic components of extracellular liquid supporting the corresponding osmotic pressure of a blood plasma and extracellular liquid.
Solution of sodium of chloride of 0,9% has the plasma substituting, disintoxication, hydrating effect, contributes to normalization of an acid-base state. Izotonichen to a blood plasma of the person.
Pharmacokinetics. Solution of sodium of chloride of 0,9% at intravenous, hypodermic administration is quickly removed from a vascular bed, passes into the intersticial sector and in cells. An elimination half-life — about 1 hour. Very quickly ions of sodium, chlorine, and also water begin to eliminirovatsya by kidneys, raising a diuresis.
Indications to use:
The isotonic 0,9% solution of sodium of chloride are widely used for dissolution of medicines. It can be applied at big losses of extracellular liquid or its insufficient receipt (toxic dyspepsia, cholera, diarrhea, pernicious vomiting, extensive burns with strong exudation, etc.), the phenomena of a hypochloraemia and a hyponatremia with dehydration, intestinal impassability, intoxications, to washing of wounds, eyes, a mucous membrane of a nose, to partial perfusion together with heparin, antineoplastic and other medicines.
Route of administration and doses:
Enter intravenously. The maximum daily therapeutic dose - 3000 ml, the volume of the entered solution depends on the level of loss of liquid, ions of sodium and chlorine. Other ways of introduction are possible (subcutaneously, rektalno). Apply only in a hospital.
Features of use:
At long introduction of high doses of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride it is recommended to control the content of electrolytes in plasma and urine.
Exerts impact on a water-salt homeostasis, an acid-base state. Strengthening of the developing wet brain and lungs is possible.
Interaction with other medicines:
At blood losses and shock along with use of drug hemotransfusion, plasmas or plasma substituting liquids is recommended.
Isotonic solution of sodium of chloride should not be entered at the disturbances of water-sodium balance connected with a hypernatremia at an extracellular overhydratation, intracellular dehydration, the circulator disturbances menacing with wet brain and lungs at treatment by massive doses of corticosteroids.
Large volumes of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride apply with care at patients with the broken secretory function of kidneys and/or heart failure, at children and elderly people.
Introduction of large volumes of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride can lead to chloride acidosis and an overhydratation, and also to increase in release of potassium from an organism.
According to the recipe
Solution isotonic for infusions of 0,9% in bottles of 200 ml.
