Hypofibrinogenemia

Description:

Hypofibrinogenemia — the lowered content of fibrinogen in a blood plasma.

Hypofibrinogenemia symptoms:

At a hypofibrinogenemia a blood coagulation is slowed down, the friable or kroshkovaty clot is formed. The hypofibrinogenemia is shown by ecchymomas, formation of hematomas at the slightest injury, bleedings (nasal, uterine, etc.). Fibrillation occurs, but in a few minutes or hours blood becomes liquid again.

Hypofibrinogenemia reasons:

The hypofibrinogenemia usually happens acquired as as a result of insufficient formation of fibrinogen at damage of a liver, and the increased its dissolution — a fibrinolysis.
Such picture is observed at cirrhosis and its acute necrosis, a number of malignant tumors with metastasises in marrow, acute leukoses, shock of any origin, and also at the complicated childbirth (pre-natal death of a fruit, premature amotio or manual department of a placenta). An intravascular blood coagulation with the strengthened consumption of fibrinogen under the influence of penetration into thromboplastin blood from a placenta and amniotic waters can be the reason of the acute hypofibrinogenemia which is followed by uterine bleeding.

Treatment of the Hypofibrinogenemia:

The basic in treatment the afibrinogenemiya and hypofibrinogenemias is plasma transfusion and fibrinogen.
