General characteristics. Structure:

International and chemical names: лоратадин: ethyl ether 4-[8-hlor-5,6-digidro-1 [N-benzo-[5,6] tsiklogept [1,2-v] pyridine - [1-iliden] - 1-piperidincarboxylic acid;
main physical and chemical properties: tablets of color, white or white with a yellowish shade;
structure: 1 tablet contains a loratadin - 0,01 g;
excipients: sugar milk, starch potato or corn, aerosil, polyvinylpirrolidone low-molecular medical, magnesium stearate, sodium of a kroskarmeloz.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Antiallergic means of long action, belongs to a piperidinovy row, a histamine H1 receptors blocker. On the action mechanism Loratadin is a non-competitive blocker of H1 receptors, that is not drug, but its metabolite дескарбоэтоксилоратадин contacts receptors of a histamine. The formed ligand - a receptor complex dissociates slowly, than and long antiallergenic effect of drug speaks. Shows the complex action including antiallergic anti-exudative and antipruritic activity, reduces permeability of capillaries, eliminates a spasm of unstriated muscles, edematization of fabrics warns. Drug does not get through a blood-brain barrier and does not possess sedation.

Pharmacokinetics. After intake drug is found in blood in 15-20 min. Antiallergic action begins to be shown within 30 min. and remains during 12 h. About 97% of drug contact proteins of a blood plasma. Drug gets into breast milk, is removed with urine and a stake.

Indications to use:

Loratadin-Zdorovye apply to treatment of allergic rhinitis (seasonal and year-round), allergic conjunctivitis, an acute and chronic small tortoiseshell, a Quincke's edema, allergic reactions to stings of insects, pseudo-allergic reactions to gistaminoliberator, and also contact allergodermatit and chronic eczema.

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint to adults and children 12 years - 10 mg are more senior 
(1 tablet); to children from 2 to 12 years with body weight less than 30 kg - 5 mg (1/2 tablets), with body weight more than 30 kg - 10 mg (1 tablet) - 1 time a day. The use of food does not influence drug absorption. Does not cause accustoming.

Features of use:

Has no sedative and somnolent effects. It is necessary to stop Loratadin's reception not earlier, than for 48 h before conducting skin tests to avoid a curvature of results.

Side effects:

When using Loratadin-Zdorovye's nausea, vomiting, a xerostomia, head in rare instances can be observed

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of Loratadin - Health with Cimetidinum, erythromycin, ketokonazoly is possible the increase in its concentration in blood serum caused by disturbance of metabolism of Loratadin probably at the expense of inhibition the specified drugs of CYP3A4 isoenzyme of R-450 cytochrome. Due to the possible development of dozozavisimy sedation it is necessary to be careful at a simultaneous priyom of Loratadin with other blockers of H1 receptors, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, antagonists of opioid receptors, neuroleptics, tricyclic antidepressants, sedative and hypnagogues. Does not exponentiate effect of alcohol on the central nervous system.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug, the period of pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Do not appoint to children up to 2 years.

Overdose:

At exceeding of therapeutic doses by 2-4 times the risk of emergence of the central side effects (drowsiness, a headache, heartbeat) increases.

Storage conditions:

To store in dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature from 15 °C to 25 °C.

Period of validity - 2 years.
