General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 80 mg of dry extract from leaves of a ginkgo bilobed (Ginkgo bilobae fol. extr. sicc) with the number of 24% of ginkgoflavonoglikozid and 6% of terpenic lactones;

Other components: lactoses monohydrate, кросповидон, povidone, polyethyleneglycol 400, gidroksipropilmetiltsellyuloza, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid, ferrous oxide yellow (E172), titanium dioxide (E171).

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Ginkofar forte - the standardized extract of a ginkgo bilobed, the activator of cellular metabolism, promotes resuming of morphological structure and functional activity of cellular membranes. Has anti-hypoxemic effect on fabrics, including on nervous (improves supply of oxygen and glucose to a brain, билобалид And), interferes with edematization of a brain and retina, and also accelerates a resorption of hypostases, slows down an age reduction of cholinergic receptors and adrenergic α2-рецепторов, improves ability to training and storing. Extract leaves of a ginkgo bilobed, by braking of PAF and increase in elasticity of a cellular membrane of erythrocytes, improves rheological properties of blood, eliminates a spasm of blood vessels and makes their expansion. Manifestation of it is decrease in viscosity of blood and increase in microblood circulation, respectively medicine improves a coronary and brain blood stream. Extract components leaves of a ginkgo bilobed are neutralized by free radicals and have neurotyre-tread action, including at any neyropatiya and stimulate regeneration of axons of motor nerves (билобалид And).

Pharmacokinetics. At the person absorption of ginkgoflavonoglikozid results in a small intestine. Biological availability of terpenoids to the person makes: for a ginkgolid And – 93 - 100%, a ginkgolida In – 79 - 93% and a biolobalida And – more than 70%. After oral administration in a dose of 80 mg the maximum concentration is reached in 2 - 3 hour and makes 15 ng/ml for a ginkgolid And, 4 ng/ml – for a ginkgolid In and about 12 ng/ml for a bilobalida And. Linkng with proteins of a blood plasma makes 43% for a ginkgolid And, 47% – a ginkgolida In and 67% for a bilobalida And. The elimination half-life makes 2 - 4 hour. Elimination duration – the 24th hour.

Indications to use:

Distsirkulyatorny encephalopathy of different genesis (an effect of a stroke, craniocereberal injuries, at patients of advanced age), in the form of disturbances of attention and/or memory, decrease in intellectual properties, feeling of fear, a sleep disorder; disturbance of peripheric circulation and microcirculation, including arteriopatiya of the lower extremities, Reynaud's syndrome; neurosensory disturbances (dizziness, a ring in ears, the gipoakuziya, a macula lutea degeneration, is connected with aging, a diabetic retinopathy).

Route of administration and doses:

At distsirkulyatorny encephalopathy of different genesis and disturbances of peripheric circulation it is recommended to accept inside on 1 tablet 2 - 3 times a day after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid.

Duration of a course of treatment has to make 8 - 12 weeks. The first signs improvement come, as a rule, in 4 weeks from an initiation of treatment. After end of a basic course of treatment it is recommended further uses of medicine on 1 tablet 1 - 2 times a day after food, washing down with a small amount of liquid. Ginkofar Forte is well had by an organism therefore it can be applied for a long time.

Features of use:

Pregnancy and lactation.
It is unknown about the facts of a negative impact of drugs with a ginkgo bilobed on a germ and the newborn. As experience of use Ginkofar Forte during the periods of pregnancy and a lactation is absent, it is possible to appoint drug only in case the expected advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit or the child.
Ginkofar Forte does not influence ability to manage vehicles and to work with difficult mechanisms, but in case of side effects from a nervous system it is necessary to avoid such activity.

Side effects:

There can be disturbances from digestive tract. Persons with hypersensitivity can have a headache, dizziness and skin allergic reactions (reddening, hypostasis, an itch).

Interaction with other medicines:

Drug should not be used at the same time at long therapy by acetylsalicylic acid, warfarin, and also thiazide diuretics.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any component of drug.

As there are no sufficient data of the children concerning use of this medicine for treatment, it should not be applied at children age up to 12 years.

Overdose:

There can be disturbances from digestive tract, consciousness disturbance, and also a headache. Therapy – symptomatic.

Storage conditions:
