Drotaverinum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 40 mg or 80 mg of Drotaverinum in 1 tablet.

Preaparat rendering spasmolytic, myotropic, vasodilating, hypotensive action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Reduces intake of the ionized active calcium in smooth muscle cells at the expense of inhibition of phosphodiesterase and intracellular accumulation of tsAMF. It is quickly and fully soaked up in a GIT. At intake bioavailability is close to 100%, and the semi-absorption period — 12 min. It is evenly distributed on fabrics, gets into smooth muscle cells. It is excreted by kidneys.

It is expressed and long expands smooth muscles of internals and vessels, the ABP reduces, increases the minute volume of heart. Practically does not influence the autonomic nervous system and does not get into TsNS.

Indications to use:

The spasm of smooth muscles of internals (kardio-and a pylorospasm), chronic gastroduodenit, a peptic ulcer of a stomach and duodenum, cholelithiasis (hepatic colic), chronic cholecystitis, a postcholecystectomy syndrome, hyper motor dyskinesia of bilious ways, spastic dyskinesia of intestines, intestinal colic owing to a delay of gases after operation, colitis, a proctitis, tenesmus, a meteorism, an urolithiasis (renal colic), a pyelitis, a vasospasm of a brain, coronary and peripheral arteries, need of weakening of reductions of a uterus and a spasmolysis of a neck of uterus at childbirth, a spasm of smooth muscles during tool interventions.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside — for 0,04-0,08 2–3 times a day. In oil, п / to — 2–4 ml 1–3 times a day, for removal of colic — in/in slowly on 2–4 ml.

To children up to 6 years — for 0,01-0,02 1–2 times a day, to children 6-12lt — 0,02 g 1–2 times a day.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. The category of action on a fruit — is not determined by FDA.

Side effects:

Feeling of heat, dizziness, arrhythmias, hypotension, heartbeat, perspiration (is more often at parenteral administration), allergic dermatitis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens (especially at in introduction) effect of other spasmolysants (including m-holinoblokatorov), the hypotension caused by tricyclic antidepressants, quinidine, novokainamidy.

Reliability of elimination of a spasm raises phenobarbital.

Reduces spazmogenny activity of morphine, protivoparkinsonichesky properties of a levodopa.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, glaucoma.

Restrictions to use. Prostate adenoma, the expressed atherosclerosis of coronary arteries.

Overdose:

AV blockade, cardiac standstill, paralysis of a respiratory center.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C, in dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the expiry date specified on packaging.
