General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent of inosine (inosine) - 200 mg; excipients: potato starch, methyl cellulose water-soluble, sucrose (refined sugar), stearic acid;
the cover contains: methyl cellulose water-soluble, polysorbate 80 (twin-80), titanium dioxide (titanium dioxide), tropeolin Oh, beeswax.

Description: Round, biconvex tablets, film coated, from light yellow to it is yellow - orange color. On cross section two layers are visible: internal - white color, outside - from light yellow till yellow-orange color.

Pharmacological properties:

Treats group of the medicines regulating metabolic processes. Derivative purine (nucleoside), predecessor of adenosinetriphosphate (ATP).

Pharmacodynamics. Stimulates synthesis of nucleotides, increases activity of some enzymes of a tricarbonic acid cycle. Getting into cells, raises energy level, has positive effect on processes of exchange in a myocardium.

Pharmacokinetics. It is well absorbed in a GIT. It is metabolized in a liver with formation of glucuronic acid and the subsequent its oxidation. In insignificant quantity it is allocated with urine.

Indications to use:

Appoint the adult in complex therapy of coronary heart disease, a myocardial dystrophy, after a myocardial infarction, the disturbances of a heart rhythm caused by use of cardiac glycosides.
Appoint at hepatitises, cirrhosis, fatty dystrophy of the liver caused by alcohol or medicines and urokoproporfiriya.

Route of administration and doses:

Inosine is appointed inside to food.
The daily dose at intake makes 0,6-2,4 g. In the first days of treatment the daily dose is equal to 0,6-0,8 g (on 0,2 g 3-4 times a day). In case of good tolerance the daily dose is raised (for 2-3 day) to 1,2 g (0,4 g 3 times a day), if necessary - to 2,4 g a day. Course duration – from 4 weeks to 1,5-3 months. At an urokoproporfiriya the daily dose makes 0,8 g (on 0,2 g 4 times a day). Drug is accepted daily within 1-3 months.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions in the form of a small tortoiseshell, a skin itch, a dermahemia are possible (drug withdrawal is required). Seldom at treatment by inosine concentration of uric acid in blood and an exacerbation of gout (increases at prolonged use).

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, gout, hyperuricemia, age up to 18 years (efficiency and safety are not established).
With care – a renal failure.

Storage conditions:

List B. In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the places unavailable to children. Period of validity 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
