Галстена®

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 7,4 mg of a thistle (Carduus) D1, 37,2 mg of a dandelion (Taraxacum) D6, 37,2 mg of a celandine (Chelidonium) D6, 37,2 mg of sodium of sulfate (Natrium sulfuricum) D12, 37,2 mg of phosphorus (Phosphorus) D12.

Excipients: lactoses monohydrate, potato starch, magnesium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Complex homeopathic medicine. Has the hepatoprotective effect which is shown in reduction of expressiveness of a syndrome of a cytolysis and intra hepatic cholestasia, normalizes motor and evakuatorny function of biliary tract, eliminates dyspepsia symptoms. Galstena has cholagogue, spasmolytic, antiinflammatory effect, prevents formation of stones of a gall bladder.
 
Pharmacokinetics. Effect of drug of Galsten is result of cumulative action of its components therefore carrying out kinetic observations is not possible; everything together components cannot be tracked by means of markers or bioresearches. For the same reason it is impossible to find also metabolites of drug.

Indications to use:

For treatment of acute and chronic diseases of a liver (hepatitis, a hepatosis), diseases of a gall bladder (chronic cholecystitis, cholelithiasis, postcholecystectomy syndrome) and chronic pancreatitis.

Route of administration and doses:

For ensuring the greatest efficiency Galstenu® should be accepted in 30 minutes prior to or in 1 hour after meal, to keep a tablet under language to a full rassasyvaniye.

At the beginning of a disease, and also in the cases demanding bystry weakening of symptoms, drug is recommended to accept 4 times a day on 1 tablet (adults and teenagers) and on 1/2 tablets (children) before improvement. At improvement approach the dosage should be reduced to 2 times a day.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation: at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation drug is used on doctor's orders.

Side effects:

Currently emergence of side effects is not registered.

Interaction with other medicines:

Clinically significant interaction of drug with other medicines is not established.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

Overdose cases were not registered so far.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature not above 25 °C in the place protected from light. To store in the places unavailable to children. Period of storage 3 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.

On 12 tablets in the blister from aluminum foil and PVH/PVDH. One, two, three or four blisters are placed with the instruction on a medical use in cardboard packaging.
