Laktovit forte

General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: powder crystal with grains of the different size from light yellow till yellow and/or pink color with strawberry taste at dissolution;
 
Structure: 1 bag (4 g) contains folic acid - 1,5 mg, B12 vitamin - 15 mkg,
 
Lactic Acid Bacillus (Bacillus coagulans (Lb.sporogenes) - 120 million a dispute;
Excipients: silicon dioxide colloid, sucrose, aspartame, dry strawberry fragrance.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Laktovit forte - the combined drug which part Lactic Acid Bacillus are (Bacillus coagulans (Lb.sporogenes), folic acid and B12 vitamin.

The therapeutic effect of Laktovit is defined forte by the bacteria producing lactic acid which have antagonistic activity concerning the pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms forming favorable conditions for development of useful intestinal microflora. Disputes of bacteria become more active in a stomach, then in a duodenum pass into a live vegetative form and form favorable conditions for development of useful intestinal microflora due to development of L (+) lactic acid. Bacteria carry out zymolysis of proteins, fats and complex carbohydrates (also at a lactose intolerance at children) and promote processes of recovery of a mucous membrane of intestines.

Folic acid (B9 vitamin) is necessary for normal leucio-and an erythrogenesis, synthesis of amino acids and nucleic acids, purines and pyrimidines. During pregnancy protects an organism from action of teratogens.

B12 vitamin (Cyanocobalamine) activates exchange of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids, participates in synthesis of nucleic acids, stimulates an erythrogenesis, normalizes function of a liver and a nervous system. Has synergy effect at reception together with folic acid.

Pharmacokinetics. For today there are no pharmacokinetic models for a research at the person of the complex biological substances consisting of components with various molecular weight. Folic acid is well soaked up in digestive tract, metabolized in a liver and fabrics, removed with bile and urine.

Indications to use:

Laktovit forte it is intended for treatment of adults and children, since the first months of life having chronic colitis of various etiology including the nonspecific ulcer colitis, somatopathies complicated by dysbacterioses, the antibiotics which resulted from use, sulfanamide drugs and other reasons, the persons who had acute intestinal infections in the presence of dysfunction of a GIT or allocation pathogenic and opportunistic pathogenic bacteriums and also in obstetric and gynecologic practice at nonspecific inflammatory diseases of genitalias and prenatal training of pregnant women of group of "risk" with disturbance of purity of a vaginal secret to the III-IV degree. When carrying out a maintenance therapy at urticaria, eczema, children's diathesis, atopic dermatitis.

Route of administration and doses:

Appoint 2 times a day in 40 minutes prior to food. To dissolve contents of one bag in 50 - 100 ml of water of room temperature (water should not be hotter).

Children up to 2 years can give drug just before feeding (having dissolved contents of one bag in 25 - 50 ml of water of room temperature (water should not be hotter) aged from 2 years - on 2 bags (having dissolved contents of one bag in 50 - 100 ml of water of room temperature); the adult - 2, at most 4 bags.

Use duration:

At disbioza of various etiology treatment is carried out within 4-6 weeks.

For fixing of the gained clinical effect in 10 - 14 days after the termination of a course of treatment in the absence of full normalization of microflora appoint maintenance doses of drug (a half of a day dose) within 1 - 1,5 month.

Features of use:

For storage of viability of components of drug it is desirable not to wash down Laktovit forte with hot drinks.

Kids can give drug just before feeding.

Because of high antibiotic-resistant the bacteria producing lactic acid, drug does not interfere with an antibioticotherapia.

Forte it is possible to appoint therapy of Laktovit after a course of treatment bacteriophages.

Pregnancy and lactation

Laktovit Forte, in the presence of indications on reception, during pregnancy and feeding by a breast accept in usual daily doses

Side effects:

Side effects at use of Laktovit are not revealed forte in bags.

Interaction with other medicines:

At a concomitant use folic acid reduces effects of Phenytoinum, a pirimidona, to PASK, Sulfasalazinum, oral contraceptives.
 

Contraindications:

Sensitivity to lactose or to other components of drug.

Overdose:

For today about cases of overdose of Laktovit forte it was not reported.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature not above 25 °C in original packaging in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 2 years.
