General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: suppositories from light brown till dark brown color, a cigar-shaped form, with a specific smell. Existence of a plaque and heterogeneity of coloring in the form of impregnations and a mramornost is allowed; Structure: 1 suppository contains phenolic hydrophobic drug of propolis, in terms of 50% the maintenance of the sum of phenolic connections - 0,1 g; excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, propylene glycol, solid fat.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Phenolic hydrophobic drug of propolis provides antiinflammatory, reparative and antimicrobic action. Presence of Dimexidum as a part of suppositories supplements a range of activity of drug with the anesthetizing properties, raises a resorption of pharmacological substances through a mucous membrane. Propylene glycol and a basis provide conditions for implementation of therapeutic effects of active ingredients of suppositories.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indications to use:

Proctites, proctal cracks, postoperative wounds of distal department of a rectum.

Route of administration and doses:

For adults and children 7 years are more senior apply
on 1 suppository 3 times a day after bowel emptying. Duration of a course of treatment depends on disease severity and can make from 8-10 days to 14-21 days.

Features of use:

With care it is necessary to apply to treatment of children, pregnant women and during feeding by a breast taking into account a ratio risk/advantage.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is possible to apply in a combination with other drugs intended for treatment of associated diseases. Simultaneous use with other products of beekeeping is not recommended.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. Allergic reactions to beekeeping products. Children's age up to 7 years.

Overdose:

It is not established.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature from +8 °C to +15 °C. In the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 2 years.
