Hematogen

General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: the relief tiles of brown or dark brown color divided up and down by hyphens into plates, sweet taste with a slight smell of vanillin; structure: 1 tile contains albumine of food 2,5 g; excipients: the whole milk condensed with sugar, starch syrup, granulated sugar, vanillin.

Pharmacological properties:

Hematogen – means of correction of metabolic processes. A source of full-fledged protein, fats, carbohydrates and minerals which contain in the proportions close to composition of blood of the person. Drug stimulates a hemopoiesis, promotes absorption of iron in intestines, raises a hemoglobin content in blood, regulates oxidation-reduction processes in an organism.

Indications to use:

As an additional tool at anemias of various genesis, especially posthemorrhagic and iron deficiency; the states which are followed by a hypotrophy, a cachexia; in the period of reconvalescence after various diseases.

Route of administration and doses:

Hematogen is accepted inside. With the preventive purpose appoint to children 2 years, to teenagers and adults on 1-2 plates 2-3 times a day for 1-2 months are more senior. In the period of reconvalescence after the postponed iron deficiency anemia drug is appointed on 2 tiles a day for 2 months.
