Hlorgeksidin

General characteristics. Structure:

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Hlorgeksidin is active concerning the elementary, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, viruses, including concerning Treponema pallidum, Chlamydia spp., Ureaplasma spp., Neisseria gonorrhoeae, Trichomonas vaginalis, Gardnerella vaginalis, Bacteroides fragilis, Herpes simplex 2 types. To slabochuvstvitelna drug some strains of Pseudomonas spp., Proteus spp., and also acid resisting forms of bacteria, disputes of bacteria are steady. Hlorgeksidin does not break functional activity of lactobacilli.

Indications to use:

In children's gynecology at girls before menarche:

- treatment of a vulvovaginitis (including nonspecific, mixed, gonorrheal, mecotic), a bacterial vaginosis.

- at infectious and inflammatory complications in children's gynecology (for example, before operational treatment of gynecologic diseases).

Route of administration and doses:

Intravaginalno. Previously having exempted suppository from a blister strip packaging, enter it into a vagina in a dorsal decubitus.

On 1 suppository 2 times a day within 7-10 days. If necessary extension of a course of treatment up to 20 days is possible
