General characteristics. Structure:

Pellets of an itrakonazol, enough, before obtaining mass of contents of the capsule of 0,464 g; in terms of итраконазол 0,100 g. Description. Tablets of white or almost white color in the form of a ring.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Itrakonazol — derivative triazole. Synthetic antifungal broad-spectrum agent. Breaks synthesis of the ergosterol which is an important component of a cellular membrane of mushrooms. It is active concerning the infections caused by drozhzhepodobny mushrooms and yeast: Candida spp. including C.albicans, C.glabrata and C.krusei and so forth.

Pharmacokinetics. At intravaginalny introduction effective local concentration of an itrakonazol is created. System absorption is minimum.

Indications to use:

Topical treatment of vulvovaginal candidiasis (in t.   h recurrent).

Route of administration and doses:

Intravaginalno. Vaginal tablets enter into a vagina once in the evening before going to bed, in  a dorsal decubitus at slightly bent legs. Course of treatment of 7-14 days. The repeated course of treatment is possible after consultation with the doctor.

Features of use:

Prevention of reinfection requires simultaneous treatment of sexual partners. During treatment it is recommended to abstain from sexual contacts. For prevention of reinfection it is necessary to follow rules of hygiene. If clinical signs of an infection remain after completion of treatment, it is necessary to conduct a repeated microbiological research for the purpose of confirmation of the diagnosis. At emergence of allergic reaction treatment should be stopped. If necessary drug can be removed by washing of a vagina with boiled water. Influence on ability of control of vehicles Drug does not influence performance of potentially dangerous types of activity demanding concentration of attention and bystry psychomotor reactions (driving and so forth).

Side effects:

Seldom — an itch, a burning sensation in a vagina, skin rash to the areas of external genitals which are not demanding drug withdrawal.

Interaction with other medicines:

 It is not established.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to an itrakonazol and other components of drug; pregnancy (I trimester).

With care: Pregnancy of II and the III trimester (drug can be used only if the expected advantage for the woman exceeds potential risk for a fruit); the lactation period (in need of purpose of an itrakonazol breastfeeding should be stopped).

Overdose:

Use of drug in the raised doses does not cause any reactions and states, life-threatening. In case of unforeseen use of drug (inside) it is necessary to carry out a gastric lavage and to appoint inside absorbent carbon. There is no specific antidote.

Storage conditions:

 List B. In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Not to apply after a period of validity.

Packaging:

Tablets vaginal on 200 mg. On 1 or 10 tablets in a blister strip packaging or in bank of orange glass, or bank of polymeric. Each can or 1 blister strip packaging together with  the application instruction are placed in a pack from a cardboard.
