General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 0,02 g of a ketokonazol in 1 g of shampoo.

Excipients: propylene glycol, an oksipropilmetiltsellyuloz, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium metabisulphite, макроголглицерол кокоат, imidourea, dye yellow-orange, the divorced Acidum hydrochloricum, water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Ketokonazol, synthetic derivative an imidazole dioxolane, possessing strong antifungal action concerning dermatophytes (Trichophyton sp., Epidermophyton sp., Microsporum sp.), drozhzhepodobny mushrooms (Candida sp., Malassezia furfur (Pityrosporum ovale), dimorphous mushrooms (Blastomyces dermatidis, Coccidioides immitis, Sporotrichum schenckii), and also concerning stafilokokk and streptococci.

^{Mikozoral® shampoo} quickly reduces a peeling and an itch of head skin which usually are associated with dandruff, seborrheal dermatitis and a chromophytosis.

Pharmacokinetics. Absorption of a ketokonazol through skin at topical administration is insignificant. At prolonged use кетоконазол in blood is not defined. 

Indications to use:

Treatment and prevention of dandruff, seborrheal dermatitis and chromophytosis.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. To apply shampoo Mikozoral on affected areas of skin or a pilar part of the head for 3-5 minutes, then to wash out water.

Treatment:
- different types of dandruff and seborrheal dermatitis of a pilar part of the head: 2 times a week within 3-4 weeks;
- chromophytosis: daily within 5 days, and in the absence of effect extension of a course up to 7 days.

Prevention:
- different types of dandruff and seborrheal dermatitis of a pilar part of the head: weekly or 1 every two weeks;
- chromophytosis: daily within 3-5 days (a one-time course) in the spring before approach of summer.

Features of use:

When using shampoo it is necessary to avoid hit it in eyes. At hit of shampoo in eyes it is necessary to wash out them water.

If for treatment of seborrheal dermatitis it is long local glucocorticosteroids were applied, then for prevention of a withdrawal it is recommended to continue topical administration of glucocorticosteroid drugs in combination with shampoo Mikozoral with the subsequent gradual cancellation of glucocorticosteroids within 2-3 weeks.

Pregnancy and lactation. As at topical administration кетоконазол it is practically not soaked up, shampoo use Mikozoral is possible at pregnancy and a lactation.

Side effects:

Mikozoral shampoo is usually well had. The local irritation and an itch can seldom be noted. Hair can become fat or dry.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to any of drug components.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 15 to 25 °C in protected from light, the place, unavailable to children. Not to use drug after a period of validity. A period of validity - 2 years.

Shampoo in bottles polyethylene, polypropylene or orange glass on 25 g, 60 g and 100 g. The bottle together with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard.
