Pharmacological properties:

Indications to use:

Enterobiosis, ascaridosis, ankilostomidoza, strongyloidosis, trichuriasis, multiple nematodoses, echinococcosis, teniosis, alveococcosis, капилляриоз, гнатостомоз, trichinosis, the mixed helminthoses.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside. At an enterobiosis: to adults and children 10 years — 100 mg once are more senior, children are 2–10 years old — 25–50 mg once. In case of high probability of a repeated invasion — repeatedly in 2–4 weeks in the same doses. It is recommended to carry out simultaneous treatment of all family members.

At an ascaridosis, a trichuriasis, an ankilostomidoza, a teniosis, a strongyloidosis and the mixed helminthoses: on 100 mg in the morning and in the evening within 3 days.

At a trichinosis: 200–400 mg 3 times a day within 3 days, and from the 4th on the 10th — on 400–500 mg 3 times a day.

At an echinococcosis: on 500 mg 2 times a day the first 3 days and 3 times a day in the next 3 days. Further the dose is raised to maximum (at the rate of 25–30 mg/kg/days) in 3–4 receptions.

Features of use:

Side effects:

Dizziness, nausea, abdominal pain. At use in high doses for a long time: vomiting, diarrhea, headache, increase in activity of hepatic transaminases, hypercreatinemia, leukopenia, anemia, eosinophilia, hair loss, hamaturia, cylindruria, allergic reactions (skin rash, small tortoiseshell, Quincke's disease).

Interaction with other medicines:

Carbamazepine and other inductors of metabolism lower, and Cimetidinum — increases concentration in fabrics.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, nonspecific ulcer colitis, disease Krone, a liver failure, pregnancy, feeding by a breast, children's age up to 2 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain. At prolonged use in high doses: reversible abnormal liver functions, hepatitis, neutropenia.

Treatment: gastric lavage, enemas, reception of absorbent carbon; there is no specific antidote.

Storage conditions:
