Cardialgia

Description:

Cardialgias - the pains in heart differing on the signs from stenocardia (see); are characterized pricking, burning, aching, more rare by the pressing pain in heart; they can irradiate on all left half of a thorax, the left hand and a left shoulder-blade; they are fleeting (fulminant "puncture"), short (minutes, hours) and very long (days, weeks, months). As a rule, cardialgias do not stop from reception of nitrates. Existence of a cardialgia does not exclude existence at some patients of atherosclerosis of coronary arteries of heart and can sometimes alternate or be combined with true attacks of stenocardia.

Cardialgia symptoms:

The nature of pains differs from other diseases of the blood circulatory system. Pains can give on all left half of a thorax, the left hand and a left shoulder-blade; they are fleeting, short and very long. As a rule, cardialgias do not stop from reception of nitrates. Any pain in the left half of a breast can be regarded as a cardialgia, the diagnosis will not be specified yet. Cardialgias arise at a number of clinical syndromes and morbid conditions.

Cardialgia reasons:

The cardialgia can be caused:

    * defeats of a peripheral nervous system
    * a prelum of nervous roots at cervical osteochondrosis or at a protruded disk
    * as a result of irritation of a sympathetic texture of a vertebral artery
    * as a result of the cervicobrachial syndrome appearing owing to a prelum of subclavial arteries
    * at left-side intercostal neuralgia
    * at a high position of a diaphragm owing to gastric flatulence or intestines, obesity
    * phrenic hernia, the arising thicket at advanced age at stretching of an esophageal opening of a diaphragm, and also at a traumatic rupture of a dome of a diaphragm
    * the kardialgichesky syndrome can be observed at primary pulmonary hypertension, a lung heart attack (it can be followed also by an attack of stenocardia), parapneumonic pleurisy; the aching and pricking pains in heart can arise at myocarditis (one of rheumatic carditis recurrence signs), a pericardis

Treatment of the Cardialgia:

Treatment is directed to a basic disease.
Existence of a cardialgia does not exclude existence at some patients of atherosclerosis of coronary arteries of heart and can sometimes alternate or be combined with true attacks of stenocardia.
