General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: oxymetazoline hydrochloride; 100 g of drug contain: oxymetazoline of a hydrochloride of 0,05 g;
excipients: a benzalkoniya chloride, poly(ethylene oxide) 1500, dinatrium эдетат, polyvinylpirrolidone, dinatrium phosphate dodecahydrate, potassium dihydrophosphate, propylene glycol, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Means for simplification of nasal breath of long action. Drug narrows vessels in the place of application, reduces puffiness of a mucous membrane of upper respiratory tracts, facilitates nasal breath. Action is shown in a few minutes and lasts till 10-12 o'clock after drug use.
At topical administration oxymetazoline in very insignificant degree is soaked up in a system blood stream.

Indications to use:

Drug is used at treatment of acute rhinitis, sinusitis, an eustachitis, average otitis, hay fever and allergic rhinitises.

Route of administration and doses:

1. To remove a protective cap. Before the first use of drug several times to press the sprayer before emergence of a disperse stream.

Features of use:

Cautions at use. At long-term frequent use the nose mucosal atrophy is possible. It is not recommended
simultaneous use of Nazalonga and other medicines for intranasal introduction.
Influence on ability to control of motor transport and mechanisms. At prolonged use of drug in high doses it is impossible to exclude its influences on cardiovascular system and the central nervous system. In this case it is necessary to be careful at
control of motor transport and mechanisms.

Side effects:

At use of drug dryness and burning sensation of a mucous membrane of a nose, dryness in a mouth or a throat can be noted. At persons with hypersensitivity to oxymetazoline system side effects are possible: nausea, increase in pressure, tachycardia; seldom – a hyperexcitability, sleep disorders.

Interaction with other medicines:

If you accept any other medicines, surely consult with the doctor concerning a possibility of use of drug.

At co-administration of drug with other vasoconstrictors (irrespective of a way of introduction) perhaps mutual strengthening of side effects. Slows down absorption of mestnoanesteziruyushchy means and prolongs their effect. Strengthens effect of inhibitors of a monoaminooxidase on the central nervous system.

Contraindications:

Drug it is not necessary to use at hypersensitivity to components drug, atrophic rhinitis, an idiopathic hypertensia, closed-angle glaucoma, the expressed atherosclerosis, disturbances of a cordial rhythm, a diabetes mellitus, a thyrotoxicosis. Drug should not be used to children under 6 years.

Overdose:

At overdose the following symptoms are possible: tachycardia, increase in arterial pressure, hyperexcitability or oppression of the central nervous system. In this case urgently see a doctor!

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature from +2 °C to +25 °C in the place, unavailable to children.

Period of validity – 2 years. Do not use drug after expiry date.
