When drawing on skin sulfur interacts with organic matters, forming sulfides and pentathionic acid which have antimicrobic and antiparasitic effect.

Ointment is applied on integuments within 5 days.   After 5 day courses of treatment it is necessary to take a bath and to replace bed linen.
