It is possible to refer increase in concentration of any substance in blood of the person to the pathological reasons of a similar state. For example, increase in level of glucose at a diabetes mellitus. Distinguish primary polydipsia and secondary. Primary arises at direct activation of the drinking center, for example at a pituitary gipotalomicheskoy of pathology, or as a result of mental disorders. Secondary is reaction to change of composition of the circulating blood.
