Description:
The dermoid is the inborn cysts formed of the ectodermal leaf displaced in deep fabrics. Typical locations of cysts: median corner of a palpebral fissure, mastoidal, temporal and occipital areas.
Dermoid symptoms:
The dermoid tumor dense, smooth, painless, is not soldered to skin.
The differential diagnosis is carried out from brain hernias and atheromas. From hernias dermoids are distinguished by the big density, incompressibility, lack of defect in a bone, from atheromas - mobility of integuments over a tumor.
Dermoid reasons:
This cyst has an ectodermal origin.
