Triptane

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: oksibutinina hydrochloride of 5 mg

Excipients: MKTs; calcium stearate; lactose anhydrous.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Weakens a detruzor (the muscle reducing a bladder). Renders direct spasmolytic myotropic and m-holinoblokiruyushchee action. Increases bladder capacity, reduces the frequency of reductions of a detruzor, constrains desires to an urination.

Pharmacokinetics. Cmax after intake is reached in 45 min. Concentration is proportional to the applied dose. T1/2 makes less than 2 h (increases at patients of advanced age).

Indications to use:

- the urine incontience connected with instability of the function of a bladder broken or as a result of disorders of neurogenic character (a detruzor hyper reflex), for example at a widespread sclerosis or spina bifida or at idiopathic dysfunctions of a detruzor (a motor incontience);

- night enuresis at children is more senior than 5 years.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside. The adult — on 5 mg 2–3 times a day, to children and patients of advanced age — on 5 mg 2 times a day.

Features of use:

Care is necessary at a renal failure and a liver, a hyperthyroidism, an ischemic heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmia, arterial hypertension, prostate adenoma, hernia of an esophageal opening of a diaphragm.

Side effects:

Nausea, lock, diarrhea, discomfort in abdominal area, an urination delay, drowsiness or sleeplessness, the general weakness, a headache, dizziness, arrhythmia, a vision disorder (a mydriasis, accommodation paralysis), increase in intraocular pressure, the lowered sweating, dryness in a mouth, impotence, allergic reactions.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to drug components;
- closed-angle glaucoma;
- obstruction of a GIT, intestines atony, expansion of a colon, ulcer colitis;
- myasthenia;
- obstructive uropathy;
- bleeding;
- feeding period breast;
- children's age up to 5 years.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
During pregnancy of Driptan® apply only according to strict indications. In need of use of drug in the period of a lactation it is necessary to resolve an issue of the breastfeeding termination.

Overdose:

Symptoms: excitement of TsNS (concern, a tremor, the increased nervous irritability, spasms, nonsense, hallucinations), fever, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, decrease in the ABP, respiratory insufficiency, paralysis, a coma.

Treatment: it is necessary to support breath, to cause vomiting or to carry out a gastric lavage, to appoint absorbent carbon and salt laxative. For regression of symptoms of anticholinergic intoxication use blockers of cholinesterase (physostigmine). At the expressed concern or excitement — in/in introduction of 10 mg of diazepam. At tachycardia — propranolol (in/in).
