Evkalipt-M tablets for a rassasyvaniye

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: Left menthol - 6,00 mg; Eucalyptus oil - 5,50 mg;

Excipients: saccharin, sorbitol, magnesium stearate, honey fragrance, dye quinolinic yellow E-104, dye E-132 indigo carmine.

Pharmacological properties:

Has local antiinflammatory and antiseptic effect.

Indications to use:

Inflammatory diseases of upper respiratory tracts and throat (pharyngitis, laryngitis, tracheitis).

Route of administration and doses:

Locally. To hold in a mouth to a full rassasyvaniye, without chewing.
Adult: on 1 tablet 3-4 times a day.
To children since 8 years: 1-2 tablets a day.
Duration of treatment should not exceed 5 days.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, in rare instances – the dispepsichesky phenomena.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of an eucalyptus and anti-diabetic drugs decrease in level of content of glucose in blood and symptoms of a hypoglycemia is possible.

The eucalyptus can increase toxicity of the plants containing pirrolizidinovy alkaloids which can injure a liver. It is necessary to avoid combined use.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age up to 8 years.
