General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 tablet contains menthol solution in mentilovy ether of isovaleric acid (menthol of 15,6 mg, mentilovy ether of isovaleric acid of 44,4 mg) 60 mg; excipients: granulated sugar, silicon dioxide colloid anhydrous, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Drug shows the calming action on the central nervous system, and also renders moderate reflex vasodilating (koronarolitichesky) influence by reflex irritation of sensitive nervous ("cold") receptors of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity. Stimulation of receptors is followed by induction of release of endorphines, enkephalins, dinorfinums and other opioid peptides which play an important role in reduction of painful sensitivity, normalization of permeability of vessels and regulation of other important mechanisms of functioning of cardiovascular and nervous systems. Under the influence of drug physiologically active agents – a histamine, kinina, etc. are released.

At sublingual use drug is absorbed from a mucous membrane of an oral cavity. The therapeutic effect occurs approximately in 5 min. After absorption it biotransformirutsya in a liver and it is allocated with urine in the form of glucuronides.

Indications to use:

Attacks of stenocardia of easy severity; sea and air diseases; hysteria; neurosis; the headache connected with reception of nitrates.

Route of administration and doses:

Tablets keep in a mouth (under language) to a full rassasyvaniye. The single dose for adults makes 1 - 2 tablets; a daily dose – 2 - 4 tablets. If necessary the daily dose can be increased. The maximum daily dose – 600 mg. A course of treatment – up to 7 days.

Features of use:

Use during pregnancy or feeding by a breast. Use of drug during pregnancy or feeding by a breast perhaps if, according to the doctor, the expected positive effect for mother exceeds potential risk for the fruit/child.

Ability to influence speed of response at control of motor transport or work with other mechanisms. Care during the first hours after administration of drug at control of vehicles or the work requiring special attention because of possible side effects (dizziness and drowsiness) is necessary.

Children. There is no experience of use of drug for treatment of children therefore it is not necessary to appoint drug of this age category of patients.

Side effects:

At prolonged use slight nausea, discomfort in a stomach, dacryagogue, dizziness, short-term arterial hypotension, drowsiness which quickly pass independently occasionally can be observed. Development of allergic reactions, including a Quincke's edema, rash, an itch, urticaria is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Validol-Zdorovye strengthens sedation of psychotropic drugs, opioid analgetik, alcohol and anesthetics. Potentiation of effect of anti-hypertensive drugs at their simultaneous use with Validolom-Zdorovye is possible.

Validol-Zdorovye reduces expressiveness of the headache caused by reception of nitrates.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components. The expressed arterial hypotension; acute myocardial infarction. Children's age. Appropriate security measures at use. Drug contains sugar that should be considered to patients with a diabetes mellitus.

Overdose:

Symptoms: a headache, nausea, excitement, disturbance of action of the heart, a lowering of arterial pressure, oppression of the central nervous system, reaction of hypersensitivity to drug components (a Quincke's disease, a small tortoiseshell, an itch, rash). Treatment: drug withdrawal, gastric lavage and symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

To store in original packaging at a temperature from 8 °C up to 15 to °s.khranit in the place, unavailable to children.
