Sodium chloride

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 9 g of sodium of chloride in 1 liter of solution.

Excipients: water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Has dezintoksikayionny and regidratiruyushchy effect. Fills shortage of sodium at various patologichnsky conditions of an organism and temporarily the kike of the bone circulating in vessels increases volume.

Pharmacokinetics. Are quickly removed by kidneys without changes.

Indications to use:

Isotonic solution of sodium of chloride is applied to dissolution of medicines, and also at big losses of extracellular liquid or its insufficient receipt (toxic dispersion, cholera, diarrhea, pernicious vomiting, extensive burns with strong exudation, etc.), a hypochloraemia and a hyponatremia with dehydration, intestinal impassability, intoxication, to washing of wounds, eyes, a mucous membrane of a nose, to regional perfusion together with heparin, antineoplastic and other medicines.

Route of administration and doses:

Isotonic solution of sodium of chloride for infusions is entered intravenously (usually kapelno) or locally (for washing of wounds, eyes, a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity), for moistening of a dressing material.

Before introduction solution is heated to 36-38 °C, the dose is defined depending on loss to organisms of liquid, ions of sodium and chlorine — averages 1000 ml/days. At big losses of liquid and the expressed intoxication introduction to 3000 ml/days is possible.

Rate of administering — 840 ml/h (180 кап. / mines); if necessary — rate of administering is increased.

To children at shock dehydration (without determination of laboratory parameters) enter 20-30 ml/kg. Further the mode of dosing is adjusted depending on laboratory indicators.

Features of use:

Freezing of drug on condition of safety of tightness of a container is possible. At long introduction of high doses of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride it is necessary to carry out control of an acid-base state and electrolytes in a blood plasma and urine.

Use during pregnancy and in the period of a lactation. Data are absent.

Side effects:

Introduction of large volumes of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride can bring
to chloride acidosis and an overhydratation, and also a hypopotassemia.

Interaction with other medicines:

Together with colloid hemodynamic blood substitutes — mutual strengthening of effect. When mixing with other medicines it is necessary to control visually compatibility (nevertheless, invisible and therapeutic incompatibility is possible).

Contraindications:

Hypernatremia, acidosis, hyperchloremia, hypopotassemia, extracellular overhydratation, the circulator disturbances menacing with wet brain and lungs, wet brain, a fluid lungs, an acute left ventricular failure, the accompanying purpose of glucocorticosteroids in high doses.

With care: dekompensirovanny chronic heart failure, chronic renal failure (oligoanuriya).

Storage conditions:

Period of validity - 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging. Storage conditions. In the place, dry, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. Freezing at transportation is allowed.

Packaging:

In containers polymeric for infusion solutions of single use with one or two ports for 100, 250, 500, 1000 ml. Each container is packed into a secondary package from polypropylene or polyethylene of the put application instruction. Containers from the polyolefin film are allowed to be packed without secondary package.
