Диклоген® Plus

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 11,6 mg of diclofenac of diethyl amine (that corresponds to 10 mg of diclofenac), 100 mg of methyl salicylate, 50 mg of menthol racemic.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Diclofenac and methyl salicylate - non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NPVP). Render local analgeziruyushchy, antiinflammatory and anti-exudative action. The mechanism of action is caused by suppression of synthesis of prostaglandins. At topical administration reduce pain and an inflammation in joints, morning constraint and a swelling of joints, promote increase in volume of movements. Menthol (рацементол) causes irritation of nerve terminations, has the local distracting and easy analgeziruyushchy effect, causes a feeling of a cool in a drug site of application.

Pharmacokinetics. At external use diclofenac and methyl salicylate are soaked up and get into hypodermic cellulose, muscular tissue and the joint capsule.

Indications to use:

For simpomatichesky therapy of diseases of a musculoskeletal system:

— pseudorheumatism;

— psoriasis arthritis;

— ankylosing spondylitis;

— osteoarthrosis of peripheral joints and backbone;

— rheumatic defeats of soft tissues;

— muscular pains of a rheumatic and not rheumatic origin;

— traumatic damages of soft tissues.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly. To adults and children 12 years drug are more senior put with a thin layer over the inflammation center 3-4 times a day and slightly rub. The necessary amount of drug depends on the size of a painful zone. The single dose of drug makes 2-4 g (on volume comparably with a size of large cherry).

To children from 6 to 12 years to apply not more often than 2 times a day, a single dose of drug up to 2 g.

After putting drug of a hand it is necessary to wash up.

Duration of treatment depends on indications and noted effect. After 2 weeks of use of drug it is necessary to consult with the doctor.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated in the III trimester of pregnancy. The question of use of drug in I and II trimesters of pregnancy is solved individually. Due to the lack of experience of use of Diklogen plus in the period of a lactation, use of drug of N this period is not recommended.

Use at abnormal liver functions. With care: hepatic porphyria (aggravation), heavy abnormal liver functions.

Use at renal failures. With care: heavy renal failures.

Use for children. It is contraindicated to children up to 6 years.

Use for elderly patients. With care: advanced age.

Special instructions. Drug should be applied only on the unimpaired skin, avoiding hit on open wounds. After drawing it is not necessary to apply an occlusive bandage. It is not necessary to allow hits of drug in eyes and on mucous membranes.

Side effects:

Local reactions: eczema, a photosensitization, contact dermatitis (an itch, reddening, puffiness of the processed site of skin, a papule, a vesicle, a peeling).

System reactions: generalized skin rash, small tortoiseshell, Quincke's disease, bronkhospastichesky reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Diclofenac can strengthen effect of the drugs causing a photosensitization. Clinically significant interaction with other medicines is not described.

Contraindications:

— anamnestic data on an attack of a bronkhoobstruktion, rhinitis, small tortoiseshell after reception of acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVP;

— pregnancy (III trimester);

— lactation period;

— children's age (up to 6 years);

— disturbance of integrity of integuments in the place of alleged drawing;

— hypersensitivity to diclofenac or other components of drug, to acetylsalicylic acid or other NPVP.

With care: hepatic porphyria (aggravation), GIT erosive cankers, heavy abnormal liver functions and kidneys, chronic heart failure, advanced age, bronchial asthma, pregnancy (I and II trimester).

Overdose:

At external use in the recommended doses extremely low system absorption of active components of drug makes overdose almost impossible.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 30 °C. Not to freeze. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years.
