Imupret

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 29 g of aqueous-alcoholic extract of officinal herbs: 0,4 g of roots of a mallow (radix Althaeae), 0,3 g of flowers of a camomile (flores Chamomillae), 0,5 g of a grass of a horsetail (herba Equiseti), 0,4 g of leaves of walnut (folia Juglandis), 0,4 g of a grass of a yarrow (herba Millefolii), 0,2 g of bark of an oak (cortex Quercus), 0,4 g of a grass of a dandelion (herba Taraxaci).

Excipients: alcohol (16-19,5 about. %), the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Vegetable components which are a part of drug have complex activity which is shown in antiinflammatory action, reduction of hypostasis of a mucous membrane of respiratory tracts and around nasal bosoms, local the enveloping action (reduction of pain), immunostimulating and antiviral effects. Under the influence of drug phagocytal activity of macrophages and granulocytes, accelerations of elimination of pathogenic micro organisms increases.

Pharmacokinetics. It was not studied.

Indications to use:

Diseases of upper respiratory tracts (tonsillitis, pharyngitis, laryngitis), prevention of development of complications and a recurrence at respiratory viral infections owing to decrease in protective forces of an organism.

Route of administration and doses:

Depending on disease symptoms, drug is appointed in the following doses:

Acute manifestations (usually 2-3 days):

- adults: on 25 drops of 5-6 times a day;

- children of age of 6-12 years: on 15 drops of 5-6 times a day;

- children of age of 2-6 years: on 10 drops of 5-6 times a day;

- babies and children up to 2 years: on 5 drops of 5-6 times a day.

After stopping of acute process on an extent й weeks and for long therapy:

- adults: on 25 drops 3 times a day;

- children of age of 6-12 years: on 15 drops 3 times a day;

- children of age of 2-6 years: on 10 drops 3 times a day;

- babies and children up to 2 years: on 5 drops 3 times a day.

Even after disappearance of symptoms, it is reasonable to continue within 1 week treatment to prevent a disease recurrence. Drug is well transferred therefore it can be recommended for prolonged use. For basic therapy of chronic respiratory diseases (especially tonsillitis) it is necessary to use drug not less than 6 weeks. Drops accept, as a rule, in not divorced look. Children can give drops, adding them to juice or tea. Before use solution should be shaken up.

Features of use:

The bottle at use of drug should be held vertically.

In the course of storage loss of a deposit is possible: it does not influence effect of drug.

Due to the insufficiency of experience, during pregnancy and feeding by a breast, it is recommended to appoint drug, having convinced that the advantage of its use exceeds potential risk.

Data on direct influence of drug on ability to manage transport and to work with mechanisms are absent, but it is necessary to consider that drug contains alcohol.

Because of the ethanol content of a drop of Imupret® it is not necessary to appoint after successful antialcoholic treatment.

With care to appoint to patients who have liver diseases, the epilepsy having brain injuries.

Side effects:

Skin allergic reactions to drug components are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

The combination Імупрета® with antibiotics as it exponentiates their effect is recommended and prevents immunosuppressive action of antibiotics on an organism.

Negative effects owing to interaction with other medicines are not known.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to components of drug and to plants of family of a thistle family.

Overdose:

Cases of poisoning with drug owing to its overdose are not known.

Storage conditions:

To store in protected from light, the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not over 25 ºС. Period of validity 2 years. The open bottle can be used within 6 months.
