Mukofalk

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: powder of covers of seeds of a plantain oval - 3,25 g.

Excipients: sucrose — 0,4795 g; citric acid — 0,435 g; a dextrin — 0,294 g; sodium alginate — 0,2515 g; sodium citrate — 0,225 g; sodium chloride — 0,015 g; sodium saccharinate — 0.01 g; fragrance orange — 0,04 g;

5 g of granules contain the quantity of assimilable ulevod corresponding 0,064 XE.

Pharmacological properties:

Hydrophilic fibers from a cover of seeds of a plantain hold liquid in a GIT, at the expense of it volume increases and the chair consistence is softened. Drug recovers normal function of intestines, regulating its activity and facilitating a passage of intestinal contents.

Indications to use:

- a lock (including at pregnancy);

- proctal cracks;

- hemorrhoids;

- the postoperative period at interventions in anorectal area (for creation of softer consistence of a chair);

- functional diarrhea;

- syndrome of the angry intestines.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside.

To adults and children 12 years — on 1 pack ice are more senior. or 1 h to a spoon of 2-6 times a day. Before the use contents 1 pack ice. or pour out 1 h a spoon in a glass which is slowly filled with cold water (150 ml), stir and immediately drink. Then wash down with one more glass of liquid.

Features of use:

At administration of drug it is necessary to drink not less than 1,5 l of liquid a day.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

In the first days of treatment strengthening of a meteorism and emergence of feeling of overflow in a stomach is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not necessary to appoint along with antidiarrheal drugs, and also with the drugs oppressing motility of intestines.

It is necessary to observe an interval 30-60 min. between Mukofalk's reception and other drugs.

At patients with achrestic diabetes reduction of a dose of insulin can be required.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to drug;

- organic strictures of a GIT;

- intestinal impassability;

- dekompensirovanny diabetes mellitus;

- children's age (up to 12 years).

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not revealed.

Storage conditions:

In the dry place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
