Vitalipid of N children's

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 135,3 mkg of Retinolum of palmitate that corresponds to 69 mkg of Retinolum (Vit. A), 640 mkg of α-tocopherol ((((((((((Vit. E), 1 mkg of ergocalciferol (Vit. D2), 20 mkg of phytomenadionum (Vit. K1).

Excipients: oil of soybeans, phospholipids of an egg yolk, глицерол anhydrous, sodium hydroxide 1M - to pH 8.0 (is a proofreader of pH and on labels of an ampoule and cardboard packs it is not taken out), water for injections.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Polyvitaminic drug. Pharmacological properties of drug are caused by properties of the fat-soluble vitamins which are its part. Vitalipid of N children's is a mix of vitamins B the quantities consumed at a usual diet and should not have any pharmakodinamichesky effects except recovery and maintenance of normal level of A, D2, E, K1 vitamins.

Indications to use:

— for ensuring daily need for fat-soluble vitamins A, D2, E, K1 at parenteral food at newborns and children up to 11 years.

Route of administration and doses:

Intravenously. Before use Vitalipid the N children's needs to part. All manipulations have to be carried out in aseptic conditions.

For newborns with body weight less than 2.5 kg (premature or children with low body weight at the birth) the daily dose makes 4 ml/kg of body weight of Vitalipid of N children's in days.

For other children aged up to 11 years drug appoint in a dose 10 ml (1 ampoule) a day.

In 1 hour prior to infusion in aseptic conditions of 10 ml (one ampoule) of drug Vitalipid N children's add 10% and 20% to 500 ml of Intralipid. The received solution is mixed easy rocking, then used for parenteral infusions according to the application instruction of Intralipid. The received solution needs to be used within 24 hours.

Features of use:

Use at abnormal liver functions. It is contraindicated at the diseases proceeding with disturbance of exchange of fats, such as an abnormal liver function.

Use at renal failures. It is contraindicated at the diseases proceeding with disturbance of exchange of fats, such as a renal failure.

Use for children. Apply at newborns and children up to 11 years.

Special instructions. Vitalipid of N children's can be used only by divorced.

Side effects:

Against the background of Vitalipid's infusion N children's can arise the side reactions characteristic of any fatty emulsions of parenteral food.

Interaction with other medicines:

Vitalipid of N children's contains K1 vitamin which can interact with anticoagulants of a coumarinic row.

Contraindications:

— the increased individual sensitivity to drug components;

— the diseases proceeding with disturbance of exchange of fats such as renal failure, dekompensirovanny diabetes mellitus, pancreatitis, abnormal liver function, hypothyroidism (if the gipertriglitseridemiya is noted) and heavy sepsis. At such patients in case of Vitalipid's use it is necessary to control carefully the level of triglycerides in blood serum;

— hypersensitivity to proteins of soy and eggs.

Storage conditions:

To store in the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C. Not to freeze! To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 2 years.
