Candide (solution for topical administration)

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents: Clotrimazolum of 10 mg

Excipients: propylene glycol, глицерол (glycerin).

Pharmacological properties:

Clotrimazolum – derivative an imidazole, protivobgribkovy broad-spectrum agent.
The anti-mycotic effect is connected with disturbance of synthesis of ergosterol, is a part of a cellular membrane of mushrooms that causes change of its structure and properties and leads to a lysis of a cell.
Dermatophytes, drozhzhepodobny mushrooms (sorts Candida, Torulopsis glabrata, Rhodotorula), mold mushrooms, and also the activator multi-colored are sensitive to Clotrimazolum depriving Pityriasis versicolor and the activator of an erythrasma.
Has antimicrobic effect concerning gram-positive (staphylococcus and streptococci) and gramotritsateltsy bacteria (Bacteroides, Gardnerella vaginalis), and also concerning Trichomonas vaginalis.
At topical administration adsorption of Clotrimazolum from mucous membranes is insignificant.

Indications to use:

Candidosis stomatitis.

Route of administration and doses:

10-20 drops (1/2 - 1 ml) Candida apply on affected areas of an oral cavity 3-4 times a day, it is desirable by means of a wadding stick. Improvement of a state occurs usually for 3-5 day of treatment, however treatment needs to be continued before full elimination of clinical displays of a disease.

Features of use:

Candide is intended only for topical administration in an oral cavity.

Side effects:

Drug is usually well transferred. In rare instances, at hypersensitivity to drug components, allergic reactions - reddening of a mucous membrane of an oral cavity, a burning sensation and prickings on site putting drug, a small tortoiseshell are noted. At emergence of irritation drug needs to be cancelled.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use with Amphotericinum In, nystatin activity of Clotrimazolum can decrease.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Pregnancy and lactation
Use of drug during pregnancy or in the period of a lactation is allowed when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds risk for a fruit or the baby.

Overdose:

The acute overdose at topical administration Candida is improbable and does not lead to the situation posing a threat for life.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature not above 25 °C.
To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Solution for topical administration of 1%.
On 15 ml in a polyethylene bottle with the built-in stopper dropper from the polyethylene which is screwing up a plastic stopper. One bottle together with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard.
