General characteristics. Structure:

Syrup Engtuobang in the form of viscous liquid of brown color with a characteristic smell.

Active ingredients: in 10 ml of syrup contains:

- dry extract of bark of a golarrena fluffy (Holarrhena antidysenterica Ness.) 50 mg
- dry extract of fruits of a myrtle ordinary (Myrtus communis L.) 200 mg
- dry extract of fruits and roots of a barberry awned (Berberis aristata L.) 30 mg
- dry extract of fruits of a quince Bengalese (Aegle marmalos L.) 100 mg
- dry extract of bark of an oak tinctorial (Quercus infectoria L.) 50 mg
- dry extract of leaves of a butea magnificent (Butea frondosa (L.) Willd) 20 mg

Excipients: sucrose, citric acid anhydrous, глицерол, sodium chloride, methylparahydroxybenzoate, пропилпарагидроксибензоат, propylene glycol, oil mint, Tutti-frutti fragrance, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The combined drug of a plant origin which components render the antiinflammatory, antimicrobic, adsorbing, knitting and spasmolytic action.

Pharmacokinetics. According to the International convention (EMEAHMPWG11/99) when carrying out clinical tests of drugs of a plant origin the isolated research of pharmacokinetic parameters is not required.

Indications to use:

— acute and chronic diarrheal syndrome of a noninfectious etiology.

Route of administration and doses:

Drug is appointed inside the adult on the 3rd teaspoons (on 15 ml) by each 4 h. A course of treatment - 10 days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. Drug is contraindicated to use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Use at renal failures. Contraindicated at an abnormal liver function.

Use for children. Contraindicated: children's age (up to 18 years).

Special instructions. Drug contains sugar that should be considered a sick diabetes mellitus, and also adhering to a hypocaloric diet. In 15 ml of syrup (single dose) 11.25 g of sugar contain that corresponds to 0.94 XE.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicinal interaction is not revealed.

Contraindications:

— abnormal liver functions;

— inflammatory gastrointestinal diseases;

— intestinal impassability;

— the diarrhea caused by dysentery, helminthosis, chemicals;

— existence of symptoms of the expressed dehydration and electrolytic balance;

— pregnancy;

— lactation (breastfeeding period);

— children's age (up to 18 years);

— the increased individual sensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

So far cases of overdose are not described.

Storage conditions:

Drug should be stored in the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply upon termination of a period of validity.
