Витапрост® Forte

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: Samprosta substance (prostates extract) - 0,10 g (in terms of water-soluble peptides – 0,020 g) Excipients Vitepsol – enough before receiving suppository weighing 1,25 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Витапрост® Forte possesses organotropic action on a prostate. Reduces degree of hypostasis, leukocytic infiltration of a prostate, normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells, increases number of lecithin grains in a secret of an acinus, stimulates a muscle tone of a bladder. Improves microcirculation in a prostate due to reduction of a thrombogenesis, antiagregantny activity, interferes with development of thrombosis of venules in a prostate. On the basis of these clinical trials it is proved that Vitaprost®forte moderately reduces prostate volume.

Drug reduces expressiveness of obstructive and irritativny symptomatology at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate that is expressed in increase in the maximum and average volume flow rates of urine and reduction of volume of a residual urine. Витапрост® Forte normalizes parameters of a prostate and ejaculate. Reduces pain and discomfort, eliminates the dysuric phenomena, improves copulative function.

Indications to use:

Chronic abacterial prostatitis. Benign hyperplasia of a prostate. States before operative measures on a prostate.

Route of administration and doses:

Rektalno, on 1 suppository once a day. After introduction stay of the patient in a bed within 30-40 minutes is desirable. Duration of a course of treatment is determined by the attending physician. The minimum duration of a course of treatment the drug Vitaprost® Forte at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate – 15 days, at chronic prostatitis – 10 days.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions meet extremely seldom.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

5 suppositories in a blister strip packaging, place 2 blister strip packagings together with the instruction on a medical use of drug in a pack from a cardboard.
