General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: suppositories of chartreuse color, cigar-shaped form; structure: 1 suppository contains benzocaine – 100 mg, subgallate bismuth – 40 mg, oxide zinc – 20 mg, menthol – 4 mg; excipients: poly(ethylene oxide) 1500, poly(ethylene oxide) 400.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Anesthesol – complex medicine which therapeutic effect is caused by pharmacological properties of active components which are its part. Anesthesol shows the mestnoanesteziruyushchy, antiinflammatory and knitting action.

Indications to use:

Symptomatic treatment of hemorrhoids and anal fissures.

Route of administration and doses:

The drug is administered rektalno. On 1 suppository of 1 - 2 time a day after a cleansing enema or independent defecation. Duration of a course of treatment is defined by the character and disease severity reached by therapeutic effect, the general tactics of treatment.

Features of use:

At prolonged use of drug control of indicators of blood is necessary.

Side effects:

Seldom there are allergic reactions. Drug can provoke a diarrhea, cause burning sensation in an anus. At prolonged use reactions from blood can develop (methemoglobinemia).

Interaction with other medicines:

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

At use in therapeutic doses the overdose is improbable. Symptoms are not described.
