Hawthorn tincture

General characteristics. Structure:

Tincture of fruits of a hawthorn for 70% alcohol (1:10).

Pharmacological properties:

Antiarrhytmic; cardiotonic.

Indications to use:

Functional cardiac disturbances, ciliary arrhythmia, Bouveret's disease (at easy forms in addition to treatment by the main antiarrhytmic drugs).

Route of administration and doses:

Inside till 15-20 drops 3 times a day.

Features of use:

It is recommended during treatment of the ABP and ECG monitoring.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (urticaria, itch), arrhythmia, decrease in the ABP; seldom - dizziness, a tremor, drowsiness.

Interaction with other medicines:

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, children's age (up to 12 years), pregnancy (the I trimester).
