Papazolum

General characteristics. Structure:

Active agents of 0,03 g - Bendazolum (2 Benzylbenzimidazoles of a hydrochloride) and 0,03 g of a papaverine of a hydrochloride (6,7-Dimetoksi-1-(3,4-dimetoksibenzit) hydrochloride isoquinoline).

Excipients: potato starch, talc, calcium
stearate.

Description. Tablets of color, white or white with a grayish shade, ploskotsilindrichesky
with a facet. Existence of scarcely noticeable impregnations is allowed.

Pharmacological properties:

Bendazolum (Dibazolum) – an antispasmodic of myotropic action. Has vasodilating, spasmolytic effect. 

Papaverine the hydrochloride is a myotropic antispasmodic. Reduces a tone of unstriated muscles of internals and vessels. 

Causes an arteriectasia, promotes increase in a blood-groove, in that 
number of cerebral.

Indications to use:

Apply at spasms of peripheral vessels and vessels of a brain, at spasms of smooth muscles of abdominal organs.

Route of administration and doses:

Inside. The adult  on 1-2 tablets 2-3 times a day. 

The course of treatment is individual, usually 2-4 weeks.

To children – to destination the attending physician.

Features of use:

During treatment alcohol intake has to be excluded.

At pregnancy and a lactation safety of drug is not established.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, lock, the increased perspiration, dizziness, drowsiness, development of an atrioventricular block, disturbance of a cordial rhythm, decrease in contractility of a myocardium are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Pharmakodinamicheskoye: at simultaneous use with spasmolysants, sedatives, diuretics, tricyclic antidepressants, procaineamide, Reserpinum, quinidine strengthening  of hypotensive effect is possible.

Weakens effect of antikholinesterazny drugs (Galantaminum, прозерин, физиостигмин, etc.) on smooth muscles; reduces antiparkinsonichesky effect of a levodopa.

Pharmacokinetic: the adsorbents knitting and enveloping means reduce absorption of drug in digestive tract.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to components of drug, disturbance of atrioventricular conductivity, respiratory depression, epileptic 
syndrome, bronkhoobstruktivny syndrome; children's age till 1 year. 

With care: intestines hypoperistalsis, craniocereberal injury, liver  and/or renal failure, hypothyroidism, adrenal insufficiency, prostate hyperplasia, pregnancy, lactation period. 

Overdose:

Cases are not described.

 

Storage conditions:

List B. In protected from light and the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity of 5 years. Not to apply after the period of validity specified on packaging.
