General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 10 g of camphor.
Excipients: alcohol of 70%.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Renders local irritative, antiseptic, antiinflammatory and analgetic action. Excites sensitive nerve terminations, reflex improves a trophicity of bodies and fabrics.
Pharmacokinetics. At absorption from the surface of skin partially is oxidized. Products of its oxidation connect to glucuronic acid and are removed by kidneys. A part of camphor is allocated in not changed look with respiratory tracts and with bile.
Indications to use:
Miositis, mialgiya, sciatica, prevention of formation of decubituses.
Route of administration and doses:
Outwardly, for grindings and the prevention of decubituses 2-3 times a day. Duration of treatment is 7-10 days.
Side effects:
Small tortoiseshell, irritation of skin, headache, dizziness.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity, disturbance of integrity of an integument, eczema, dermatitis; tendency to convulsive reactions.
With care: pregnancy, lactation period, children's age.
Overdose:
Excitement, tachycardia, spasms.
Storage conditions:
Period of validity - 10 years. Not to use after the termination of a period of validity. To store in the dry, protected from light place.
