DIAMOND GREEN

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: diamond green – 1 g; excipients: ethanol (alcohol) of 95%, the water purified. Description: transparent liquid of intensively green color with an alcohol smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Antiseptic drug (it is active concerning gram-positive bacteria).

Indications to use:

Fresh postoperative and posttraumatic hems, meibomitis, blepharitis, pyoderma, grazes, cuts, disturbances of integrity of integuments.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly, apply directly on the damaged surface, taking surrounding healthy fabrics.

Side effects:

Burning in a site of application, at hit on a mucous membrane of an eye – burning, dacryagogue.

Interaction with other medicines:

Solution of diamond green is incompatible with the disinfectants containing active iodine, chlorine, alkalis including ammonia solution.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Not to use after expiry date.

Packaging:

Solution for external use spirit 1%. On 10 ml in the bottles from a drot corked by rubber bungs and aluminum caps or in bottles import, corked by import covers with a shovel, or in the bottles from glass melt of orange glass with a screw mouth corked by polyethylene traffic jams and the screwed covers. Each bottle with the application instruction is placed in a pack from a cardboard. Packaging of bottles without pack together with the equal number of application instructions in group packaging is allowed.
