General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: 60 mg of tincture of propolis, 5 mg of ascorbic acid, 5 mg of dense extract of a calendula.

Excipients: sugar, citric acid, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Propolis contains the flavonoids, flavones, flavanols derivative of cinnamon acid at the expense of which drug possesses antibacterial and antiinflammatory action.

Ascorbic acid strengthens antioxidant effect of biologically active agents of propolis, participating in regulation of oxidation-reduction processes, carbohydrate metabolism, coagulability of blood, increases resistance of an organism to infections. Maintains colloidal state of intercellular substance and normal permeability of capillaries.

Extract of a calendula supplements antiseptic properties of drug, especially at treatment of inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat.

Pharmacokinetics. At a rassasyvaniye in an oral cavity active ingredients come to a system blood stream. Ascorbic acid is widely distributed in body tissues. Concentration of ascorbic acid in a blood plasma normal makes about 10-20 mkg/ml. Linkng with proteins of plasma makes about 25%. Ascorbic acid reversibly is oxidized with formation of dehydroascorbic acid, a part is metabolized with formation of ascorbate-2-sulfate which is inactive, and oxalic acid which is removed with urine.

Indications to use:

— acute and persistent infections of upper respiratory tracts (ORZ, bronchitis, quinsies, ulites, stomatitises);

— inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat;

— ulcers and wounds in an oral cavity;

— unpleasant feelings in a mouth and a throat (dryness and irritation);

— an unpleasant smell from a mouth.

Route of administration and doses:

The tablet is held in a mouth to a full rassasyvaniye. To children since 3 years on 1 tablet of 3-4 times/days (under control of adults). To children 12 years are more senior and the adult the dose doubles. Course of treatment of 5-6 days.

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast. There are no restrictions in use of drug during pregnancy and a lactation.

Use for children. It is contraindicated at children's age up to 3 years.

Use is possible at children 3 years according to the dosing mode are more senior.

Special instructions. Influence on ability to driving of motor transport and to control of mechanisms. Does not influence.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite.

Contraindications:

— diabetes mellitus;

— hypersensitivity to drug components;

— children's age up to 3 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: slight nausea.

Treatment: drug withdrawal.

Storage conditions:

To store drug in the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of storage - 2 years. After a period of validity not to use drug.
