General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: albuminous fraction of a human blood plasma;

excipients: sodium caprylate at the rate of 30 mg on 1 g of protein.

Main properties: the plasma substituting means received by fractionation of a human blood plasma. Transparent viscous liquid from yellowish till light brown color, is allowed a greenish shade.

Pharmacological properties:

Albumine – protein fraction of a human blood plasma. At intravenous administration to the recipient albumine supports osmotic pressure in the circulating blood, quickly increases arterial pressure, promotes receipt of an intercellular lymph in a blood channel and to its preservation, takes part in exchange processes between fabrics and blood, is a source of proteinaceous food of an organism.

Indications to use:

Drug is appointed at the traumatic and operational shocks, burns which are followed by dehydration and concoction of blood at a hypoproteinemia and a hypoalbuminemia of various origin (a nephrotic syndrome, cirrhosis, long septic and purulent processes, etc.). Use of solution of albumine is recommended also at digestive tract diseases (a peptic ulcer, tumors, reduction of passability of a gastrointestinal anastomosis), at acute pancreatitis, operations with extracorporal blood circulation.

Route of administration and doses:

The drug is administered intravenously kapelno with a speed which is not exceeding 50-60 drops in min. The dose is established individually. The single dose depends on a condition of the patient and 100 ml can be limited. If necessary the dose can be raised to 300 ml.

Features of use:

Apply only in the conditions of a hospital. After the termination of a period of validity use of drug is inadmissible. For injection use separate system. In cases of big blood losses it is possible to combine use of albumine with hemotransfusion.

Side effects:

Short-term temperature increase, occasionally – back pains, a small tortoiseshell can sometimes be observed.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of albumine with APF inhibitors the risk of development of arterial hypotension increases.

Contraindications:

Thromboses, hypertension, internal bleedings, hypersensitivity to proteinaceous blood preparations.

Overdose:

It was not studied.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 2 to 8 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
