General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 1 ampoule contains extract of goitrous glands of cattle - 0,02 g.
 
main physical and chemical properties: amorphous powder or porous weight from light yellow till light brown color, with a characteristic smell.

Pharmacological properties:

Stimulates proliferation and differentiation of T - lymphocytes, shows immunomodulatory properties, formation of reagins and development of hypersensitivity of the slowed-down type oppresses.

Indications to use:

Allergic diseases of upper respiratory tracts (the pollinosis, infectious and allergic rinosinusit).

Route of administration and doses:

Apply locally to children of advanced age and adults in the form of an instillation in a nose or intranasal inhalation. Daily dose of 20 mg (1 ampoule). For prevention of a pollinosis drug is used one week prior to possible manifestations of clinical symptoms of a disease. Just before use the ampoule with drug is diluted by 2 ml of isotonic solution of sodium of chloride or boiled water. Solution is used within a day. Vilozen's solution is dug in on 5-7 drops in each half of a nose of 5 times a day. At a pollinosis administration of drug is recommended to be begun with the advent of the first clinical symptoms. The course of treatment makes 14 - 20 days. If necessary the course is repeated.

Features of use:

Apply locally. Experience of use for children, pregnant women and women in the period of a lactation is absent.

Side effects:

In the first week of use of Vilozen short headaches, strengthening of a congestion of the nasal courses are possible.
