General characteristics. Structure:
Active ingredient: 10 mg diamond green (an encore - (couple-dietilamino) - a trifenil-angidrokarbinola of oxalate).
Excipients: alcohol.
Antiseptic agent for external and topical administration.
Pharmacological properties:
Pharmacodynamics. Drug is active concerning gram-positive bacteria.
Pharmacokinetics. Drug does not get through the unimpaired skin. When drawing on the injured skin it is soaked up in microquantities.
Indications to use:
Fresh postoperative and posttraumatic hems, grazes; pyoderma, blepharites. Apply also to processing of edges of healthy skin around affected areas.
Route of administration and doses:
Apply directly on the damaged surface in the form of 1% of spirit solution.
Side effects:
At use of drug allergic reactions are possible. In case of hit of an antiseptic agent on a mucous membrane of an eye the burning sensation, dacryagogue is noted.
Interaction with other medicines:
It is not established.
Contraindications:
Hypersensitivity to drug components.
