Blood donorship

Description:

(Latin of donare — "to give" blood donorship) and (or) its components — voluntary surrender of blood and (or) its components by donors, and also the actions directed to the organization and safety of preparation of blood and its components aiming at creation of reserves of donor blood and (or) its components for the subsequent transfusion (transfusion) of donor blood and (or) its components to the recipient in the medical purposes. Hemotransfusion is done to one and a half million Russians annually, the statistics claims. Blood is required to victims of burns and injuries, when carrying out difficult operations, at difficult delivery, and sick with hemophilia and anemia — for maintenance of life. Blood is also vital the oncological patient at chemotherapy. Every third inhabitant of Earth at least once in life needs donor blood.

Statistically for 2007 — 2008 — in Russia there are not enough components and blood preparations of domestic production in this connection the federal program "Service of Blood" for development of gratuitous donorship is open.
Thanks to donorship there is activation of system of a hemopoiesis — cells of red marrow and immunity stimulation. Some unloading of bodies which participate in utilization of the dying erythrocytes affects: spleen, liver.

    * increase in stability of an organism: resistance to blood loss at accidents, accidents, burns, heavy operations;
    * extension of youth due to stimulation of a hemopoiesis, self-updating of an organism;
    * prevention of diseases of cardiovascular system;
    * prevention of diseases of immune system, disturbances of digestion, atherosclerosis, activity of a liver, pancreas;
    * removal of excess ballast from an organism: excess of blood and its elements.

Types of donorship:
Autodonorstvo. Autodonorstvo — preparation of own blood of the patient before the subsequent planned operation. Transfusion of alien blood is a stress for an organism, and transfusion own allows to minimize negative effects.
Autoplazma. Own, in advance prepared blood plasma. It is applied at obstetric aid and other operations.
Blood donorship. Means blood sampling which is resuspended further in the special preserving solution, it is divided into components, poured or processed.
