General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 100 mg of clindamycin of phosphate in terms of clindamycin.

Excipients: semi-synthetic glycerides (like Estarinum, Vitepsol or Suppotsir).

The bacteriostatic antibiotic from group of linkozamid possessing a broad spectrum of activity

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The bacteriostatic antibiotic from group of linkozamid, possesses a broad spectrum of activity, communicates with 50S in subunit of a ribosomalny membrane and suppresses synthesis of protein in a microbic cell.

Concerning a number of gram-positive cocci perhaps bactericidal action. It is active concerning Staphylococcus spp. (including Staphylococcus epidermidis which are producing and not producing a penicillinase), Streptococcus spp. (excepting Enterococcus faecalis), Streptococcus pneumoniae, Corynebacterium diphtheriae, Mycoplasma spp, anaerobic and mikroaerofilny gram-positive cocci (including Peptococcus spp. and Peptostreptococcus spp.), Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium tetani, Bacteroides spp. (including Bacteroides fragilis and Prevotella melaninogenica), Fusobacterium spp., Propionibacterium spp., эубактериум and Actinomyces israelii. The majority of strains of Clostridium perfringens are sensitive to clindamycin, but other types of Clostridium spp. (including Clostridium sporogenes, Clostridium tertium) are steady against its action in this connection at the infections caused by Clostridium spp., definition of an antibiotikogramma is recommended. Between clindamycin and lincomycin there is a cross stability.

Pharmacokinetics. After single intravaginalny introduction of 100 mg of clindamycin of 4% of the entered dose is exposed to system absorption. The maximum concentration in plasma — 20 ng/ml.

Indications to use:

The bacterial vaginosis caused by microorganisms, sensitive to clindamycin.

Route of administration and doses:

Intravaginalno. Before use one suppository is exempted from planimetric packaging, previously having cut a film on a suppository contour, enter whenever possible, it is deep in a vagina, in a prone position.

On 1 suppository of 1 times a day, just before a dream within 3-7 days in a row.

Features of use:

Vaginal suppositories are not recommended to be used along with other intravaginalny medicines.

Drug does not exert impact on the speed of response of drivers of the vehicles and faces servicing the installations requiring special attention.

Use at pregnancy and in the period of a lactation. Clindamycin gets through a placenta into circulatory system of a fruit. It is allocated with breast milk. Intravaginalny use of clindamycin at pregnancy is possible only in that case when the estimated advantage for mother exceeds potential risk for a fruit. It is recommended to be careful at appointment to the feeding women (for the period of treatment stop feeding by a breast).

Side effects:

From urinogenital system: cervicitis, vaginitis, vulvovaginal irritation.

From bodies of a hemopoiesis: seldom reversible leukopenia, neutropenia, eosinophilia, agranulocytosis, thrombocytopenia.

Allergic reactions: makulo-papular rash, small tortoiseshell, itch.

At a resorption there is a probability of development of system side effects, including in rare instances — a pseudomembranous coloenteritis.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of drugs of rifampicin, aminoglycosides - streptomycin, gentamycin, deepens the muscle relaxation caused by N-holinoblokatorami.

It is incompatible with erythromycin, ampicillin, diphenylhydantoin, barbiturates, Aminophyllinum, calcium a gluconate and magnesium sulfate.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity, pregnancy 1 trimester.

Overdose:

Due to the low absorption of drug the overdose is improbable.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature from 15 to 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Not to apply after a period of validity. A period of validity - 3 years.
