General characteristics. Structure:

Main physical and chemical properties: solid gelatin capsules No. 1 with a lid and the case of orange color. Capsule-melkogranulirovanny contents powder from light-brown till brown color; structure: 1 capsule contains an artichoke a fresh grass extract (in terms of dry matter) – 0,1 g; excipients: cellulose microcrystallic, aerosil, calcium stearate.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Means of a plant origin. Renders cholagogue, diuretic, hepatoprotective and hypolipidemic action. Strengthens bile secretion, promotes allocation from an organism of nitrogen-containing substances (urea, creatinine), toxins, and also reduces the content of the general cholesterol in blood.
The ascorbic acid which is contained in an artichoke, carotene, B1 and B2 vitamins, insulin contribute to normalization of exchange processes.

Pharmacokinetics. Pharmacological activity of drug is caused by cumulative action of its components therefore pharmacokinetic researches were not conducted.

Indications to use:

Dyskinesia of bilious ways on hypotonic and hypokinetic type, chronic cholecystitis, chronic hepatitis, chronic intoxications (hepatotoxic substances, nitro compounds, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals), a renal failure.

Route of administration and doses:

To children from 6–12 years appoint on 1 capsule 3 times a day. To adults and children 12 years are more senior appoint 2–3 capsules 3 times a day. Drug is accepted in 15–30 min. prior to food. Duration of a course of treatment makes 2–4 weeks. Treatment can be repeated in 1–2 months.

Features of use:

Use of drug during pregnancy and feeding by a breast perhaps only if the advantage considerably exceeds risk. At prolonged use of drug the level of nitrogen-containing substances and cholesterol in blood decreases. 

Side effects:

At long use of drug in high doses development of diarrhea is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

At simultaneous use of drug with hypoazotemic and gipokholesterinemichesky means strengthening of hypoazotemic and gipokholesterinemichesky effects is possible. 

Contraindications:

Individual sensitivity to drug components, impassability of bilious ways, a zhelchekamenny disease. Acute hepatitises and sharply expressed dystrophic processes in a liver. Children under 6 years (for this dosage form of drug).

Overdose:

At overdose development of diarrhea is possible. Treatment: gastric lavage, symptomatic therapy.

Storage conditions:

To store in the dry, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children.
Period of validity – 2 years.
