Sanorin

General characteristics. Structure:

Pharmacological properties:

Naphazoline belongs to alfa2-adrenomimetika, okazyvt the bystry, expressed and long vasoconstrictive action concerning vessels of mucous membranes (reduces puffiness, a hyperemia, exudation). Facilitates nasal breath at rhinitises. In 5-7 days there is a tolerance.

Indications to use:

- acute rhinitis,
- sinusitis,
- eustachitis,
- laryngitis,
- for simplification of carrying out a rinoskopiya,
- need of a stop of nasal bleedings.

Route of administration and doses:

At the first use of spray it is recommended to press several times the portioning device the compact cloudlet of an aerosol will not appear yet. Before direct use remove a protective cap, you keep a bottle with drug in vertical position, enter a trailer part of the portioning device into the nasal course then quickly and sharply press the applicator. Directly right after injection it is recommended to make an easy breath a nose. After drug use close the applicator a protective cap. On 1-3 doses of drug in each nasal course 3-4 times a day.
To apply quickly, no more than 1 week. If nasal breath is facilitated, then use of Sanorin can be finished earlier. Repeated use of drug is possible in several days.

Features of use:

At prolonged use expressiveness of vasoconstrictive action gradually decreases (the tachyphylaxis phenomenon) in this connection it is recommended to take in 5-7 days of use a break for several days.

Side effects:

Nausea, tachycardia, headache, irritability, allergic reactions, rash, increase in arterial pressure, reactive hyperemia, swelling of a mucous membrane of a nasal cavity.

Interaction with other medicines:

The concomitant use with igibitor of MAO and the period up to 14 days after the end of their use, increases risk of development of the expressed arterial hypertension (release of the deposited catecholamines under the influence of naphazoline). Slows down absorption of mestnoanesteziruyushchy means.

Contraindications:

- hypersensitivity to drug components,
- chronic rhinitis,
- closed-angle glaucoma,
- arterial hypertension,
- the expressed atherosclerosis,
- tachycardia,
- thyrotoxicosis,
- diabetes mellitus,
- a concomitant use of MAO inhibitors and the period up to 14 days after the end of their use,                     
- it is contraindicated to children up to 15 years.

Overdose:

Symptoms: decrease in body temperature, bradycardia, increase in the ABP. Treatment: symptomatic.
Prolonged or frequent use of Sanorin in a nasal cavity can cause swelling of a mucous membrane of a nose and feeling of its congestion.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity 4 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging. To store at a temperature from 10 °C to 25 °C, in protected from light and the place, unavailable to children.
