Contraindications

Breastfeeding period;
From 6 to 9 months of pregnancy;
Hypersensitivity to NPVS, including acetylsalicylic acid, shown acute rhinitis, attacks of bronchial asthma, urticaria;
Hypersensitivity to drug components.

With care Indokollir to patients with hemophilia, tendency to bleedings and other diseases causing disturbance of a fibrillation and lengthening of a bleeding time is recommended to apply; an epithelial herpetic keratitis (including in the anamnesis); the expressed abnormal liver functions.

Purpose of drug within the first 5 months of pregnancy is made only provided that the estimated advantage of treatment for mother exceeds potential harm and risk for the child.

Route of administration and dosage

Drops dig in in a conjunctival sac of an eye.

Drug is appointed on 1 drop, frequency rate of instillations depends on clinical indications and weight of a state, and can make from 3 to 4 times a day, within 1-4 weeks.

For miosis inhibition during surgical intervention, only 4 drops begin to dig in drug in 2 hours prior to operation on 1 drop with 30-minute intervals.

For prevention of cystous hypostasis of a makula drug is appointed on 1 drop by 3-4 times a day. A therapy course after carrying out operation – 1 month.

Side effects

Indokollir's use can cause side effects:

From an organ of sight: seldom – easy or moderate burning, temporary loss of clearness of sight right after an instillation; at prolonged use – conjunctivitis, opacification of a cornea;
Allergic reactions: seldom – reddening and an itch of skin;
Others: at prolonged use – development of side effects of indometacin of system character.

Special instructions

Patients with contact lenses before instillation should remove lenses and again to establish them not earlier than in 15 minutes after the procedure.

After each use of drug the bottle needs to be closed densely. Not to allow a pipette tip touch to an eye or other objects.

To patients in whom action of drops causes temporary loss of clearness of sight directly after a drug instillation, it is necessary to refrain from control of vehicles and mechanisms or from work with a difficult technique and the equipment.

Medicinal interaction

Indokollir's use in a combination with other NPVS, including acetylsalicylic acid in high doses is not recommended (3 g and more in days); diflunizaly (because of risk of development of bleedings in digestive tract).

Drug can strengthen effect of drugs of lithium, indirect anticoagulants.

At a concomitant use indometacin can weaken therapeutic effect of beta adrenoblockers, saluretics.

If necessary drug can be used in combination with other eye drops including containing glucocorticosteroids, observing an interval between instillations not less than 5 minutes.
