Kalgel
Application instruction:
Kalgel – the combined medicine with antimicrobic and mestnoanesteziruyushchy action applied at a teething at children.
Form of release and structure
Kalgel release in the form of dental gel: yellowy-brown color, soft, homogeneous, with a characteristic smell, free from lumps, grains and foreign particles (in aluminum tubas on 10 g, on 1 tuba in a cardboard pack).
Active agents are a part of 1000 mg of gel:
- Lidocaine hydrochloride – 3,3 mg;
- Chloride cetylpyridinium – 1 mg.
Auxiliary components: ксилитол – 140 mg, 70% uncrystallizable solution of sorbitol of 70% – 210 mg, глицерол – 70 mg, 96% ethanol – 93,6 mg, лауромакрогол 600 – 3,3 mg, caramel (E150) – 1 mg, a gietelloz – 25 mg, глицерилгидроксистеарат a macrogoal – 10 mg, a macrogoal of 300 - 3,3 mg, sodium saccharinate – 1 mg, left menthol – 0,6 mg, grass fragrance of 17.42.5490 - 4,8 mg, monohydrate of citric acid – 1,05 mg, sodium citrate – 8,3 mg, water – to 1000 mg.
Indications to use
Kalgel appoint for stopping of a pain syndrome at children from five-months age at a teething.
Contraindications
- Disturbance of intra ventricular conductivity;
- Bradycardia;
- Heart failure of the II-III stage;
- Arterial hypotension;
- Liver and renal failure;
- Hypersensitivity to drug components.
Route of administration and dosage
Kalgel apply locally.
Gel in a small amount (about 7,5 mm) needs to be applied on a tip of a clean finger and with care to rub to the inflamed site of a gingiva. Kalgel in cases of need it is possible to put repeatedly with a break not less than 20 minutes, but 6 times a day are not more often.
Side effects
During Kalgel's use disturbance of swallowing and allergic reactions can be observed (in the form of urticaria, an itch, an acute anaphylaxis).
If during therapy symptoms of an allergy develop, it is necessary to cancel drug and to see a doctor.
Special instructions
It is not necessary to exceed the doses recommended in the instruction as it is necessary to consider a possibility of a proglatyvaniye of Kalgel during sleep and feedings.
Before gel use, and also in cases of development of atypical symptoms it is necessary to consult at the pediatrician.
